I bought a V6 in 2015 which still works fine, but not useful for floor/carpet cleaning as the motorhead assembly for responsible for rotating the brushbar has gone off!

Yeah I'm wondering the same…V10 with motorhead provides excellent strong suction for carpets up to 60 mins.
But this V8 absolute comes with the Animal head which is good for pulling up pet hair etc from carpets?
The equivalent V10 Animal/Absolute is upwards of $700+

Is this worth it over the V7 @ $279? Not sure if the V7 has suitable attachments for timber flooring, which I need. Only started looking at all the different models today and a bit confusing. Don't need animal variety.
You will need the absolute for timber floor. Animals is just a name for it.
Absolute is Animals + extra motorized head for floor.
Will tiles be fine for normal motor head? Got carpet and tiles at home.
Sometimes I get lazy, I still use my normal motor head for tiles. I havnt notice if the extra tile motorised head is actually worth it or much more effective than the normal one.

I got around it by running chrome in incognito (not sure if needed) searching for the offer in ozbargains and click on link. In eBay dont log on as your usual eBay but click on guest and fill out your details (note might need to use different email address to that of your usual eBay account).Apply code and select payment method.
