Hey guys, 2nd post here. Just ended my search for the ultimate Samsung B-die ram here and ordered couple minutes ago for my ryzen system. Absolute killer price for Samsung bdie ram. The closest I could find was at MSY for 329. Grab it fast folks!

(If you don't know what samsung bdie is then there's probably no point in getting this kit)

edit:
Another good/ faster alternative would be the Kingston HyperX Predator RGB HX440C19PB3AK2/16 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 @ PCCG for 299.
These run at 4000 CL19, but I can't confirm from my sources whether they are B-die or not, but the ratings definitely line up with B-die specs and based on my knowledge hynix and micron don't produce ram at this spec.

Don't forget an extra $30 off with code NEWEGG2018AUS from this deal, expiry 26/11/2018, brings the price to $243.90 delivered.

    not a bad price,

$160 for the 2400 speed memory is good as well if you are building a AM4 system and not using a high end GPU,

  • damn what a cracker of a deal thanks op

    • Np mate, glad to see my post helping someone out! I was pretty sad that there were no bdie deals so far so I decided to take one for the team haha

  • There's been a stack of 16GB DDR4 RAM (3000 - 3200) lately going for $160 - $200 AUD.

Why is this one so much more???

    • Because it's CAS14, most of the other cheaper ones have been CAS16-19.

Also because it's Sumsung b-die which was a big deal when Ryzen chips came out - because it worked the most reliably and got the best overclocks. I don't think reliability is such an issue now since some firmware upgrades memory controller (AFAIK).

      • I bought the $170 3000C15 and was suprised it worked in both my x370 systems at their rated speed , one with a 2600 the other a 1700 Ryzen .
The extra $100 would go much further towards a faster CPU or GPU .

    • "b-die" means it's the top spec highest performance potential DDR4. Not necessary if you're building a Facebook machine, but for an AMD system doing productivity work/gaming it's a pretty large performance boost

  • Anything 3600 and faster is b-die so yes that 4000 stuff is b-die

And I thought $313 for the 3600 c16 stuff was a good deal (well it was a few weeks ago lol)

Was wanting flare-x originally… Oh well

    • yup, I was seriously considering that one from MSY as well, but decided to hold off after seeing the korean lawsuit proceed. Looks like I got rewarded for waiting.

On the flip side, suffering on a 2133 4gb corsair module was absolutely unbearable for the 2-3 weeks I had to use it for.

      • Oh there was actually a lawsuit to do with the collusion/price fixing?

        • Yeah, it was the main reason why the price was brought down a notch I think.

    • Damn, just bought it without the coupon, didn't see this until I came back in to thank the OP! (thanks OP BTW…)

      • Same here, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

there we go, let it all out

        • I got lucky I forgot to get these…… till after the coupon came out

          • @AliensStoleMyMoney: Knowing the price with coupon just makes me angry I've spent $313/16gb kit on probably very slightly inferior b-die

            Gattdamm.

  • Great RAM for a great price (relatively speaking).

If you bought the techfast RTX 2080 build this is probably what you want to be guaranteed to run RAM at the max speed the A320 is capable of supporting (3200MHz).
