  • thanks! heard many decent reviews about this pair.

any idea how are the return policy on these headphones? i wanna give em a try as im quite picky with the comfort levels but dont wanna end up with a ear muff if it ends up not liking it

    • Looks like just standard Amazon return policy applies there. Haven't done that so not sure either myself. May be Xev can shed some light on this.

I think they are or use the OEM of Bose… not 100% sure though, I looked the OEM up couple years ago.

  • Thanks OP Good work got 1

  • I have been using these for few months, noice cancellation hardly worth but sound quality is okay and battery life too is fine.

  • Does anyone know which Taotronics headphone on Amazon has aptx? Seems like the older ones have aptx but not this one.

Edit : nvm, found the answer here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/418669#comment-6624279

  • I have these. I like then a lot.

But have no prior ANC experiences.

  • Why do you need Amazon Prime for free shipping? Isn’t it free for products over $50?

    • Yes, it's free but it takes longer time to arrive, 29 Nov - 3 Dec. With Prime, guarantee 28 Nov

I just placed an order without Prime (I used the free trail)

  • Thanks OP, got one. Somebody knows if an airplane adaptor is included like the TT-BH040?

    • +1

Nope. Charging cable and 3.5mm male to male only

      • Bummer. Cheers

        • +2

If you fly qantas, their headphones have a removable adaptor…. Just take theirs!

    • If you fly Singapore Air they supply you with one …

      • I'll be flying on Latam, don't think they supply one. I'll have a look at ebay for a cheap adaptor. Cheers

        • +1

The earphones the airline supply usually have a detachable one that I have flown with.
          Cheers

  • I'm struggling to work out the differences from the BH040 and BH22? Both are around the same price

  • Just bought another set.

  • Dont forget 11% cashback from CASHREWARDS

  • I’m tempted to buy another one! Oh man.

I am going to wait for the TT-BH052

Looks like finally a worthy competitor to the airpods

  • Might sound silly but is there any reason why this won't work on my MacBook? I'm currently using an old Sennheiser Bluetooth speaker that plugs in my mac via 3.55mm audio cable and then from the receiver to the headset is Bluetooth. This sounds like a nice upgrade? Would I be able to pair it with both my Mac and phone and the same time to handle phonecalls?

    • +1

I use this model with macbook, it works fine.

Worth noting that the in-built microphone is not very good- if you want to use these for calls, you can easily switch between input devices on your mac (but still use the headphones for audio)

Thanks! So I can technically make a phone call with my Android without having to pair and unpair with the mac?

        • Definitely able to pair to multiple devices at once, though I haven't actually tried to make a call with the phone (I use mac VOIP software for most of my calls)

Bought these in last deal. Very happy with purchase so far. Comfortable on my ears and decent sound. The ANC is handy(never had ANC before).

  • Can anybody who owns these comment on the latency when watching tv please?

    • +1

Yes please - I also want to know. Rep said none of these have aptx LL codec in this thread https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/418669 but nedski in same thread said he owns and has no issued re lipsync…. confused.

      • Depends on what you pair up with as well. If you do experience a good amount of lag, just return it to Amazon. Do an online chat with them and should be an easy process.

A bit of history….I posted the following couple day ago to share my encounters with others who were looking at the Sony WH-1000XM3 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/418555).

Got a pair in last deal and whilst they sound amazing and the NC is awesome….they have one issue that slipped past my research. They don't have the aptx LL (low latency) codec. I bought them for music listening (mobile phone) and watching TV (paired with the Blitzwolf BW-BR4 bluetooth transmitter). But because of this lack of codec there is a lip sync issue. They have every other codec but this one. Spoke to Sony, and they are aware and are planning a firmware update…but no info re when.
Just thought I'd share this in case someone plans to watch TV with them….you need a pair of headphones (and bluetooth transmitter) that both support aptx LL.
The ones I'm looking at now are the Plantronics backbeat pro 2 or the Avantree range (Audition Pro or ANC041). Or go back to RF technology….but just coming from that (sold my Sennheiser RF ones).

But I'd be happy to try the Taotronics if Amazon's return policy is easy going - Thanks.

@whorishmouth: I’d love to know what you settle on whorishmouth. My requirements are the same, but understanding less. Thanks for sharing
