Note that this is a back order. I'm still waiting for mine to ship from nearly 2 weeks ago.

I got rn email today that the bag of starburst candy I ordered weeks and weeks ago just shipped. Forgot all about it.

    • My coke came straight away, and the no sugar left Friday.

  • how does this compare to the sales woolies and coles have?

    • +1

How’s about you look at their catalogues and let’s us know?

      • +2

Coca Cola 30pk varieties are currently half price at Woolworths for $17.75 (non container deposit scheme price) which equates to 59c per can, so this is a better deal.

        • Plus this just shows up at your door one day, no need to heft it around to your car.

        • +1

Actually, at least in Victoria, I bought a couple of slabs the other day and it was 17.22 for a 30 pack. That being 53 cents less overall than your figure, which works out to 57.4 cents a can. This deal is labelled as "just over 57 cents" a can, AKA the exact same price as Woolies (and Coles the week prior, and they go back and forth on the same deal all the time).

The ONLY way this deal is worth anything is if you live 300k from the nearest shop, bugger waiting weeks for the same price.

    • It’s getting harder to tell with the varying CDC surcharges. I think only Big W do a “national” catalogue and list the prices for both the CDC/non CDC jurisdictions. .

But for example, this week Woolies in the ACT have the 30pk on sale for $21.20 (71c per can) while Coles has the 24 for $18.50 (77c per can).

Dont forget 10% cashback brings price down 18.594

    $19 Aldi 36 cans pickup

    • +1

That’s a great price. Not sure if it’s nationwide though. I see you’re in Victoria, so you wouldn’t have the CDC surcharge there.

  • +1

Excluding cashback this comes to $1.53 per litre.
Including cashback this comes to $1.38 per litre.
For comparing with Coles and Woolworths regardless of the amount of cans in a cube.

  • Coke no sugar?

      waiting for thumb downs

  • +1

    Isn't no sugar $27.75?

  • Any good deals on a Lagavulin to go with this?

    Water is free and healthier.

Same price as Woolworths. ($17.22 for 30 pack)
Not sure why you wouldn't just get the cans during your grocery run.
There's an assumption you're ordering more than $49 of products or paying for Prime.
Why wait weeks for the delivery and be forced to find other things to order when you can just pick up the same day at the supermarket which you're probably going past anyway.

    • +1

Who in the hell negged this?

Common sense isn't very common in 2018, ayy.

      • +1

LOL, Woollie's price is not uniform across all states, while Amazon's price is uniform across all states. It ends up cheaper in some states with recycling scheme, that's why.

By the way, I didn't neg it.

        • Unless you're ordering 3 or more of them, there's a delivery fee. Now I won't lie, I'm not aware exactly how much it costs in other states, but I'm sure Amazon's delivery fee would negate the potential saving.

Mind you, I could be wrong, and it could be 10 bucks more a slab in NT or wherever so who knows.

I love getting these things delivered for the same price. I can just click on it, order, and I’ll have it delivered to my front door.

So little effort, and I only have to carry it in from my front door. Even better if I didn’t have a car and has to walk or use public transport.

Even if I was driving past the supermarket, it’s time lost getting parking, walking around, and potentially impulse buying other things I don’t need. Then carting it around when I’d rather do light shops.

    • It’s free with prime. There is no $49 price floor for free delivery on .com.au goods.

    • Not everyone drives these days, in sone places you can get around via public transport or rideshare. This roughly 13.5 kilo item limits what else you can carry if you're on foot.

There's also the benefit of dodging the markup for container deposit schemes in some states.

  • Can we please stop putting in shipping with (Free with Prime/ $49 Spend).
This is incorrect. The $49 min spend is only for purchases from Amazon US through Amazon AU.

If you buy a product that is sold by Amazon AU directly and have prime - there is no shipping charge.

I just bought this product and delivery was free. I also bought God of War earlier in the week (total spend was $28 I think) - and again no charge.

The min $49 spend is misleading and incorrect.

    • Agreed. It’s very annoying.

    • +7

You've misunderstood, it's $49 for free shipping without Prime for local items.

      • You are correct as a Prime member - I did not know Amazon offered free shipping domestically for none prime members.

    • It actually pops up with it when you submit a deal from Amazon:

“If the deal you are posting is fulfilled by Amazon, please add '+ Delivery (Free with Prime/ $49 Spend)' after the item cost.”

  • I just want Coke zero

  • For those with previous experience in sydney area, who delivers the package? I'm in an apartment so afraid they will just leave it at post shop for collection

    • Update. Going to be delivered by Auspost which us usually good for me but for not bulky items. I have to collect it at post shop and carry it back. Should have just bought at Coles lol. I thought it's gonna be by courier.

  • Amazon has this in stock now!
