yeah deals haven't been as great as last year :(

According to Procehipster this has been $300 a couple of times.

  • Freesync?

  • For those deciding on this monitor. It has vesa mounts.

I have this monitor and it's pretty sweet, although I keep being tempted to get a 144hz monitor but this will do for now :P

Great image quality, slight backlight bleed in corners but not really noticeable during normal use. I'm not sure if it has FreeSync since I have a Nvidia card.

Here is a poopy quality photo - https://i.imgur.com/Go10voz.jpg

I use a gas vesa mount that was about $40ish, works good, although was a bit awkward installing :P

    • Does it have height and tilt adjustment on the stand?

      • The stand it comes with is crapola

If you can wait a little while for availability, these are $299. It's an IPS version of the older Q3279VWF, and it seems pretty decent.

Has 75hz as well as Freesync.

      I have this monitor :)
Quite nice (except for the complicated menu)

    • Been seriously looking at this one.
      Cheap with more features.
How does the upscaling from 1080p look?

    • Think this one gets a fair bit cheaper on ebay? Or is that the VA/TN model?

      • +1

Probably the VA model. AOC have been super helpful by reusing the old model name and just adding "D8" on the end of it :/

Astivita is starting it's world domination of PC monitors from rear of it plumbing warehouse…… https://www.astivita.com.au/products/H3201DP/_/Senterprisys-…

The bezeless monitor would look great in my bathroom.

    • Yes, what? If they have a marketing department, that marketing department should've advised them to start a new, albeit related, site for tech products.

  • This or a ViewSonic VX3276-2K-mhd?

    • +1

I've looked at that one before, im pretty sure these are exactly the same panel, even the housing is almost identical (buttons are EXACTLY the same on the back, same speakers etc, viewsonic has done a better stand tho)

  • This monitor has been $299 twice before this year https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/370053 and https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/375707. I wouldn't call $314.75 a bargain
