    • is there an actual reason behind the neg or just for the sake of it?

      • +4

he's just pissed as the aliens stole his money LOL

They literally pay you to take these SIMs on cashback deals… Paying for them isn't a deal.

        (Yes, literally)

Your pricing model needs serious reviewing.

Option 1 is 25% of face value.
Option 2 is 27% of face value.
Option 3 is 35% of face value.
Option 4 is 60% of face value.

I get that you're trying to push the $30 and $40 packs more, but with pricing like this you're only alienating those who are struggling to make ends meet and looking to spend $5 instead of $10.

I assume he's affiliated and simply not passing on profits, or he's getting them via cashback/etc.

      tl;dr (low to high)
      Option 1 = $3.5 cashback ($6.50 loss)
      Option 2 = $21 cashback ($1 profit)
      Option 3 = $40 cashback ($10 profit)
      Option 4 = $45 cashback ($5 profit)

As you can see, the two higher plans provide $5-10 cashback, meaning OP could already be earning $10-20 on these two sims. It doesn't matter how much is charged at that point.

      • I dont think that is a good reason to neg.

It still a bloody good deal at 2x10 for $6.

    • Hi KaptnKaos,

The pricing model is based on the demand for the particular product and the cost of maintaining stock/Postage cost/handling fees etc. Hence the pricing.

      Hope this answers your query.

Neg due to cheaper here… Literally free and/or they pay you to take them.

    • Hi dyl,

The difference in the 2 offers is that there the sim needs to be activated immediately where as at our website you can buy the sim and activate it later within 2 months from date of purchase.

      Hope your query was resolved.

Think the neg is still justified so people are aware besides very niche use sceneiaros there's cheaper alternatives…

Even in those use sceneiaros there's cheaper available at times. For example, if Vodafone isn't an issue Kogan $0.99 sims. Can stock up on sims then purchase first recharge for $0.99 - $4.99 as required.

Believe catch connect is the same if you need Optus, though 30 days to activate rather than ~1 year.

        • Hi dyl,

I don't believe you are comparing apples to apples.
For example the $30 & $40 starter packs also have unlimited international calls to 10 countries. These features are not available with Kogan and Catch in the same value range.

            • @hurr1cane: Hi hurr1cane,

  • How long does delivery take to a capital city? The web site is pretty minimalist and it's really hard to find things when viewing on a phone…

    • Hi WantToPayLess,

It usually takes max 5 working days for delivery within Australia.
Thank you for your feedback. We will work on it.

      Regards,
      Team GetMySim

      • Thanks for reply. Have placed an order. When i clicked on order, I was directly sent to the PayPal page and was not given any acknowledgement after payment. There was just the normal PayPal email confirming payment, but nothing from GetMySim confirming order. Is that correct? Also I assume you just use the address from PayPal for delivery?

        • Hi WantToPayLess,

You will receive an email confirmation (again via PayPal) once the product is shipped.
Apart, yes we do use the address from PayPal for delivery as we don't want to duplicate the process and effort of capturing the customer details during both purchase and payment stage.

          Hope that answers your query.

          Regards,
