Of coarse, the Naviforce is a homage of the AW1361-10H.

I would recommend a Skmei 1134 (Sanda 329) digital watch for kids. See this post

        Of coarse

        Of course.

        • +1

          Thanks for the correction.

      • Thanks but not digital. It is hard for the kids to learn the half pass quarter pass etc from a digital watch. This face design is in fact perfect that has the hours, 24 hours and minutes numbers on them.

        • +1

Maybe a cheap analog watch like the Casio MQ24?

        • +2

          Consider this and this.

      • +1

I got that Naviforce from a previous deal. It wears huge. Just beware if that. Otherwise looks awesome. Would have taken the original one if it was not for the size of dial

    • +5

Might look similar however you're paying for the materials and technology used. These will hold up and perform a lot better than a $10 watch.

      • -7

Not if they get lost or misplaced at school. I am looking for a disposable kind of watches with the similar face design unfortunately the 3 Xinew watches I bought all came DOA.

      Entitled much?

Aldi do a really good $7 watch that keeps good time, will handle the playground is quite legible. They are designed for kids to take to school.
These are not designed for that.
My 1996 Diahatsu Charade gets me where I'm going cheaply and efficiently, however I wouldn't suggest it as a substitute for somebody who wants a 2019 Lexus.

Thanks Watchnerd! Very tempted to buy the #3 or #4.

Nice deal Watchnerd. Are you associated with Starbuy? (I see you appear to have negotiated the OzBargain specific discount)

    • +15

No I'm not associated, I just like posting watch deals. I message the Rep occasionally & hassle him for a deal.

  • +1

The link says the Citizen Eco Drive AW1361-10H Mens Classic has a leather strap.

Curse my small wrists =( Skipped wrist day

    • I have pretty small wrists myself and the 45mm doesn't wear like it as the lugs are pretty short. I'd say go for it, I'm very happy with mine.

    • Never skip wrist day - its actually a thing.

  • +1

The Eco-Drive AW1361-10H is very good at $119 shipped. An Amazon vendor wants $273 + GST and it may arrive after Chtistmas.

  • -1

Hi Watchnerd, off topic but can you please suggest a good watch under $40 for daily use? TIA.

    • +1

Naviforce 9044, it is the duplicate of #4 above and a very reliable watch for 10$.

    • Daily use in what context? Office work, tradie, casual, etc

      • Casual

        • +1

Go on aliexpress and pick what you want from Nakzen, Skmei, Naviforce, Guanqin, you can't go too wrong.

    • +2

Pretty hard to go past the Momentum watches that I mentioned here. If you've got prime then shipping is free & they have dropped even more since I posted that comment. The blue dial is down to $42.39 plus 11% Cashrewards = $37.73. That's a crazy bargain actually.

  • Hey watchnerd I'm loving your posts. Any deals on the Seiko Alpinist?

    • +1

It occasionally pops up on Amazon.com for about $360USD excluding shipping/tax.
I'm not sure if that would ship to Australia.

    • +1

On Amazon.com now and shipping to Australia. Be quick if you're after one.

  • I bought this watch from Amazon.ca two years ago (while I was living in Canada). I love it!

I caught my dentist checking it out - he's a watch nerd. He was shocked when I told him how much I paid ($125). He said it looked like an $800 watch!

  • Hey watchnerd, thanks for the deal. Really like the Black AW5000-24E but not sure if this is the lowest price for this model. You reckon this price is the lowest possible or should I wait until boxing day for a better deal? Cheers

    • +5

I don't know what's going to happen in the future, my DeLorean is in for repairs. But it's the cheapest that I know of so far.

      • Thanks mate. Happy to pull the trigger on this one as long the price is the cheapest that it has ever been for this watch :)
