EVGA have (pretty sure they still do) an international warranty regardless of where you purchase it from - usually 3 years for GPU's.

1070 isnt poweful enough for 1440p 144hz, you would need a 1080ti minimum if not sli.
Or you could turn one setting from Stupid/Ultra to High.

@Smashed Avo: ive got a 1080 and i cant even get 100fps on the less demanding AAA games… kind of regret my predator purchase since i dont get high enough fps to utilise it. The whole point of 1440p is for games to look good. Stupidityis lowering settongs to medium/high just to get 80fps…

I honestly think prices will normalise a bit in 2019 between VRAM supply and maturation of 7nm processes, leading to a pretty awesome 2020 launch for both AMD and NVIDIA.
im sitting on a gtx 980 also. still no real reason to update for me, as im not playing the latest games that need the tech. still very happy with performance. Not going to get value out of these newly released cards. Its an easy wait until february/march next year.
