As mentioned by Stevil in this post, Calm is an amazing app. I love the sleep stories too. Only instead of the previous deal of $300, this one is free.

While I know making a quality app costs money, I agree with the commenters on the previous post saying the price is prohibitive and potentially keeps it out of the hands of those that need it most, while ironically causing some anxiety.

I recommend the app to a lot of my clients and they love it. So, the deal. If you're a teacher, school counsellor, psychologist, etc or know anyone who is, or, can pretend to be, fill out the form and get a premium lifetime membership to both Calm and Calm Kids.

I filled out the form with my non-work email address and it was approved in about 24 hours.

    You'd think the collossal laptops in schools ripoff would teach people something but then again, that'd be learning something useful in the classroom.

      Ok, pays to read long text on Web pages. There is a form to complete to get free lifetime access. The form asks where you teach, and what age students you teach they are targeting teachers of K-12 students. I assume they also want an educational institution email address. They also ask you to share some more about yourself and how you calm your students.

    There is a small percentage of the population that has an adverse reaction to meditation/mindfulness. Like all things, it is not without its risks.

    Calm is an excellent app and I've used it for a while but I feel this maybe ethically unfair to claim an offer for teachers and their students. But in any case, I'll still give it a shot

      Agreed but thought it was worth a shot and there was no mention of a limit so teachers can still get it. Been waiting 24 hours and no response unfortunately. Must have been Ozbargained.
