    • These were marked down to $5 at my local bunnings, I grabbed a set and they all seem to work well, nice cheap thing to make the front of the place we're in look a bit nicer and night!

      • wow, $5, where?

      • Do yours also only last a few hours at night. Mine get basically full sun all day, but are generally out by about 10:30-11pm.
Not really an issue, since we're rarely in the backyard that late, just expected them to last longer…
Also, mine appear to just white, not sure what the "multi colour changing LED globe" is about.

        • Honestly not sure, they're generally still on by the time I go to bed at around 10:30-11pm. I've noticed that the two which are out of the sun earlier sometimes are off by this time. And yeah mine are just white.

        • I sometimes get home past midnight, and all of them are still working.

Multi colour - it cycles through red, blue, green

  • bought a bunch of recently

    Which will all fail soon.

Has been $1 at my local bunnings for a while already. I've got 10 and half of them died after 2 months.
Water gets in too easily and the moist corroded the stuff inside.

Yep, these things are junk, never seen one last.

    • did you try returning them to bunnings, with the same reason @Scab mentioned in above post?

      • I reckon Bunnings count on people not being bothered to return such a low value item.

I'm in the same boat. Bought lots of these cheap solar lights in the past and they die pretty quickly. Water and bugs get into the battery and circuit housing.

      • Lost the receipt already so can't really do much.

@nbn you can still give it a try. If this brand is exclusively sold at bunnings.

          • @alvinmk: Oh really? I'll try that next time I head to bunnings. Refund or not at least I 'll tell them these are not even worth $1.

    • I agree with this but mine died on the day and the day after. Returned it to Bunnings and had it replaced…. 4 times! Exchanged it for different lights and have done the same thing. It got to the point I didn't want to bother and got my refund back.

  • Any other solar light on sale?
