    Weight 2926g is not light.

Hahaha yeah it's a not the lightest travel roller that's for sure. But then again most travel rollers from outdoors / camping brands aren't :)
Where did you see it saying it was light?

      • I am looking for a new carry-on roller case/bag so your deal got my attention. So I guess weight is the 1st thing I look. Unfortunately it's too heavy for a carry-on.

I think you'll find most rolling carry-ons are that weight or heavier.

          • @RushfasterAu: I think you'll find that they are not.

@RushfasterAu: Most? I guess that is true, because the vast majority of suitcases are crappy suitcases that are heavy. So yes "most" are heavier.

But that is a very misleading comment. There are plenty that are lighter.

My suitcase is lighter than that, and it's a relatively heavy four wheel hardside roller! (I checked this deal specifically because i think mine is too heavy, and am looking for something lighter!)

3kg is heavy for a soft roller. End of story. I wouldnt have expected that for an outdoor / hiking brand (where weight is important).

            • @caprimulgus: If it's too heavy for you, buy a different one I guess?

  • height requirements for jetstar are 56 and 54 for tiger and 55 for virgin. this is 57 so fits none. so not only is it a lie to say it fits most when it fits none of them, it also weighs 3k which is almost half of your carry on bagge allowance terrible product for its described purpose

    • It's a 45 inch bag that will fit on qantas and virgin long haul international. Though I dont expect you'd have a problem domestically. Also 3kg is about standard for carry on luggage.

  • The RRP sounds "OVERpriced"

    • The RRP is set by Patagonia so nothing we can do about that.

What makes this worth $450? This looks like the cheapest suitcase that money can make.

    • The RRP is set by Patagonia. Regardless, at this price it seems good value to me. You may disagree.
