Security in Super HD 5 megapixel with thermal sensing 5MP security cameras. 5MP is 2.4x clearer than 1080p/2MP, so you can zoom in to essential evidence like license plates and faces.

True Detect thermal motion sensing triggers recording & push notifications when it detects warm objects, like people & cars.

Audio capture adds another layer of evidence. Hear off-screen noises, record conversations & identify voices by age, gender, accent or language.

See live or playback video on your phone with the HomeSafe View app for complete peace of mind.

The massive hard drive stores months of footage with no fees ever. Link your NVR to your Dropbox and upload still images to the cloud for off-site storage.

Power over Ethernet, PoE, makes installation a lot simpler by having power, audio and video transmitted via a single Ethernet cable per camera.

Everything that you need is in the box, including 60ft (18m) Ethernet cables for each camera, HDMI cable, screws and security stickers.

  • How much to install this?

    • It depends on your house and what installer you hire. In most case you can just DIY, you might want to invest in cable crimp.

It depends on your house and what installer you hire. In most case you can just DIY, you might want to invest in cable crimp.

A rough ball park for a single storey in Victoria?

        What is cable crimp?

    • I had someone from airtasker (licensed sparky) install it for $220 (Dahua system - 4k 8 port poe nvr + 8 poe 5mp turret style cameras). New single storey brick & tile house. Took him around half a day. I supplied all materials except for rj45 connectors & camera mounting screws (didn't use factory screws as they're nasty and instead used long plasterboard screws).

Work done by him: 8 poe cameras install, 9 cat6 ethernet cable runs/crimp, 2 brush wall plate installs (one for NVR receiving all ethernet cables, one near router for ethernet cable to connect router/nvr).

      • Is he based sydney? Hope u can pm his details to me please? Thanks

  • How do these systems compare to the Hikvision setups most Security small business offer ?

    • +2

Much cheaper than Hikvision and comparable quality. Also, Swann is Australian owned and exported worldwide.

Also, checkout this deal it has 6 cams instead of 8 but 2 cams are spotlight cams with color night vision and have 2 way talk back and siren which can deter would be intruders.

      • +1

Picture quality maybe comparable however longevity and quality of products very different.

Also being Australian owned doesn't mean anything in this day and age. There has been plenty of reports saying their swann customer service is almost non existent.

Swann doesnt make or RND their own products, they rebrand chinese made cameras and then offer support in Australia.

Basically you get what you paid for. Set and forget or set and keep on having it repaired. I've got mates who bought a 8 cam system and every few months they have to RMA one of their cameras cuz it just stops working.

Hikvision is enterprise grade where as Ezviz is hik's subsidiary for consumer grade which maybe comparable to Swann.

Can you please chime in and find us a comparable Ezviz 8 cam POE security setup at this price? This is one of the best value for money security setup.

Also, Hikvision and Dahua are banned by multiple govt organisations because of all the security loopholes and back doors left for making them vulnerable to hacking. Where as Swann use their own firmware even on rebranded Hikvision gear.

          https://www.abc.net.au/7.30/banned-chinese-cameras-are-being…

P.S. Australian owned means a lot to many Aussies who want to see their kids grow up and be able find jobs in Australia.

@dealhunter52: Lol, Work for Swann by any chance??

No security company uses or promotes Swann, they are cheap rebranded Hik cameras from HikVision's cheapest range.

HikVision and Dahua aren't banned by multiple Government organisations……. The US Government has plans to ban them in as part of their defence procurement plans in 2019 - however, that us purely based on the trade war issues with China.

Also, Swann is not an Australian company - it is owned by the Infinova Group, which is a US company………

            • @the-fuzz: I've literally never heard anyone recommend Swann over Hik or Dahua…. :o

There's a reason why specialist security places don't resell Swann stuff, yet you can get them in Bunnings or on Catch etc….

edit: sorry fuzz, meant to reply to RuffRyder but can't delete this response now! :(

Your deal is "out of stock"

        • Oh crap! Hope they restock it soon.

    • SWANN are rebranded HikVision

      • Really? Link please

        • Lots of chatter on the various AV forums. Could be just rumours.

  • Would be great if was also alexa compatible.

Cheaper on eBay when combined with the 10% off + cashrewards + ebay coupons

  • would anyone know if they offer a similar deal for dome-type cameras instead of bullet? Wouldn't dome be a nicer and harder for criminals to vandalize?

    • Yes. However some cameras have a disadvantage when it comes to night video. Where the IR reflects inside some causing hazy video.

Turrets which are like a dome camera but larger rectifies this issue by separating the IR and Camera Lens. Basically the best of both worlds between the Dome and Bullet.

Dam that's cheap thought I got a bargain with 4 cams for $800 couple of months back. :/

Shame about the app though cuts out now and then.:(

Good cameras. On Special since Black Friday.

  • Swann 5MP camera & eBay no name brand 5MP what do you think is better image quality ? It's the no name brand .

  • Purchased the exact same unit from Costco back in June for $1130 - so price point is great (however, looks like the deal is over now)
Just wanted to point out that the sensitivity of this unit isn't the greatest - I've had reasonable false triggers with shadowing issues and even at night despite of being advertised as a thermal sensing camera.

  • How do I buy this item.. Send me a link please
