so how many meals is it? i need to know the $ per meal to know if it's worthwhile or not

    • Pretty easy to click the link then view the prices that are listed on the homepage. Would've been faster than me even typing this message

        Yep.

        Can MathNerd please confirm?

I hereby state that the above calculation is completely correct.

    • Quick mafs!

    Discounted meal 7.95 x 9 = 71.55
    71.55 - 30 = 41.55
    41.55/9 = 4.61666666
Round up to 4.62 dollars per meal if you get the CHEAPEST OPTION.

Had mine delivery today using another deal lhttps://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/419675 with $15 of for $49 spend. Its actually not bad for exchange of convenience.

thanks OP. I got the black Friday deal now this one. it was my first time trying this and its so much better than take away and a lot cheaper. with discounts only though sadly anyway booked for Friday next week since i just got some today lol

  • Thanks. Got 7 of 7.95 meal and 2 of 9.95 meal - $30 = 4.875 per meal

  • I really wish they delivered here.
Thats what I get for living in a small city I guess.

  • Anyone know what the expiry date for the code is?

I ordered quite a few last time.

    • ends tonight

      • How do you know that?

        • +1

I got the email. it says ends nov 28 in fine print down the bottom.

  • I just ordered just before I saw this deal!!

    • +1

      Hand in your OzBargain membership.

      • Okay. I’m devastated. My life is over.

  • I got 8 meals, but choose the ones with 35-40g protein per meal. $5 each is great! How many times can I order? At this price id order 20 a week!

  • +1

Interesting for anyone wanting to order the protein balls, it's actually technically cheaper to just add the single ones to your cart 20 times instead of getting the 10 or 20 packs, or even 5.

    Singles are 2.09 each
    5 pack = 2.092 each
    10/20 pack = 2.093 each

    • And with this deal they're effectively $1.181 which is quite reasonable actually….

  • Nice. Just got 8 meals at $43. Glad that I didn't buy from previous deals at more than $6 each.

  • Whats the verdict on the $5 beef pie and $5 tenders, seem to be the best value for total calories

    • Personally prefer the beef pie more. I found the tenders dry. However the last few beef pie orders the size has dropped 20% or so…

    • The pies were great but the last time I got them they tasted like crap and hardly had any filling.

      • +2

Spaghetti Bol has also gone down, was amazing now average.

    • +1

getting the best ROI like a true OZbargainer

    • Had the tenders, were dry. Honestly, buy some mayo and get frozen ones from the supermarket, it's about the same. IMO YouFoodz is only worth it for things you can't buy basically ready made and won't freeze well.

      • pulled the trigger, got 1 tenders and 2 of the pies. and 6 regular meals. I've had some of the regular meals before and most seemed decent even though I had to a few for breakfast

  • Which meals are best for muscle gains?

    • Just look for the meals with highest calorie or protein content.

  • Genuine question. I order these meals almost every single time they’re on ozb. I have about 8 of those styrofoam boxes, so people break them down and put them in with landfill?!

    • You can leave them out for collection on your next delivery or contact them to pick them up.

    • You can leave them outside on the scheduled delivery date for Youfoodz to take them away. In fact, they encourage it.

    • Leave it outside on delivery day. It's in all the paperwork they give you.

    • +3

I just chuck mine in the recycling bin :D

      im kidding….

      • I said I was kidding, why the neg?

        • You forgot to capitalise and the apostrophe?

    • Read the phamplet they give you

    • When I am home during delivery I sometimes quickly take my meals out and give the box straight back to them to take away immediately.

  • How many times can you use the same code? I mean could I get a family member to order and pay with a different CC, but ship to same address? :P

    • You can get a family member to order and pay with the same CC and ship to the same address… Suckers game to place one large order when you could do two. I'm nice at least and put them on the same day rather than making them deliver twice a week.

  • Thanks!

  • You can calculate the cost of each pack yourself or look at the comments.

I wish I had as much faith in my mathematical skills as OP does.

  • When I enter the code I get the error "This code did not match any active gift card or discount. Was it entered correctly?". So looks like the deal has already ended.

  • $20 off $50 Spend deal here that expires on December the 5th.

    • Thanks, I think I'll wait hopefully be another $30 off soon :)

      • PS: It's $20 off $59 by the way. My mistake.

And good idea. My purchase from the deal before this one has just been delivered. Also, the one I linked is $20 off $59 and not $69, so although it isn't as good as this deal, but it's still a lot better than other $20 off $69 deals posted here before. :)

    • This should have been $20 off $59 and not $50. Typo.
