These are addictive. I also saw them at Coles for $1.50 tonight too.

    • I find them too salty…

      • +5

        I find them so tasty…

      • Probably from being kept in a box all day.

  • +7

    Same price at Coles

    • +1

Was about to say better off buying at Cole's for same price

      • +2

How are you better off buying from COles then? 8% cashback on Amazon.

        • depends…i guess if you prime member/you going to buy 49 of them to get free delivery? wait a few days or eat now?

        • +1

Because you could be eating them right away if you purchased them from Coles?

          • @Munki: hence depends?

          • @Munki: and not sending profits to Amazon HQ in the USA

            (though Arnotts still is)

I keep reading that title as Free Shipping for Prime Ministers and it confuses the heck out of me everytime

    • +4

Well we have had a boatload of them - probably decided too many to contact individually.

      • +2

        boatload

Hmmm… If only someone would 'Stop the boats'

    One of my favourites!

  • What type of person is buying shapes from Amazon? I mean, remote living maybe!? But who else !?!

    • +8

Me, free postage with prime = random gifts to people just for laughs.

    • +12

I like to have a steady supply coming to my door.

  • +5

I feel too sorry for the delivery person to order this, thinking they are delivering something important!

    • +9

      But they are right!

    • unfortunately it is part of their job, without deliveries, how can they got wages from the delivery company?

  • +5

What a waste of packing material if I order one to have it delivered

  • my local aldi has them for this price.

    • +1

But do they have free home delivery?

      • +1

        annnd cashback?

        • +1

neither. I just buy them and start eating them immediately.

  • +2

I'm all for a good bargain but ordering this is just a waste of Earth's resources.

    • Gotta make use of that prime subscription somehow…

    • +3

I don't think this is as bad nor as clear cut as you think it is. After all, to compare with buying at Coles, you need to factor in the resources used to distribute boxes to each and every one of the Coles stores, and then the cost of the buyer's fuel to get to and from the store.

Granted the Coles shipments/purchases likely include other products, but by the same token a post/courier delivery is also going to spread the cost across multiple deliveries. It's an optimisation game for everyone.

Then there's the packaging - should we debate whether cardboard boxes are better or worse for the environment from a lifecycle perspective than a plastic bag (even a reusable one)?

    CHICKEN CRIMPY!

    • +1

      The best flavour.

  • +3

These have never been the same since they changed the recipe.

At the same time they changed the flavour, they also cheaped out on the biscuit massively. So when they reverted the flavour to the original, it tasted good in comparison to the new flavour, but with the cheap gross biscuit Shapes are still ruined entirely. Thanks Arnott's(or whomever bought them out).

What a waste of resources, just go to the shops you lazy bums

    • +1

Same resources… Postman is going to do his route with or without the package.

      • +3

The cleaner will be cleaning up anyway, why should I put my rubbish in the bin?

        • +6

          The legendary Broden appears…

  • +3

I'm keeping the postman in his job getting deals like this.

  • +1

    Dixie drumstick needs to return

    • What about salt and vinegar Nik Nax ?

  • Already have shapes at home so got the Tim tams instead at $1.82/packet.

    Trying out my prime membership.

  • +1

I’ve been waiting over 2 months for my last purchase

    • Not too bad. Last time that happened to me they gave me a $10 voucher. Has happened twice now

      • How did you get the voucher? By complaining?

  • I miss the original Nacho cheese shapes. They reverted the main flavours but the nacho are still the shitty new recipe. Why arnotts why
