Should've waited for this deal since I had to buy 2!
like wise man, Russel Peters says:
5 Dollars! That's a lot of money.
5 Dollars here, 5 dollars there. I can go to $10 shop!

PS Free delivery too.

Prices of other models on DSE:
    32GB - $328
    64GB - $438

    • Just 2 weeks ago I bought the iPod touch 32GB for $307 at DSE (instore).

I should of posted the reciept up on here although I was afraid it might void the warranty…

Now of retailers could drop their prices on ipod touch covers to something reasonable it would be great. $20 for a small piece of plastic is crazy! Guess they won't while some people are willing to pay top dollar…

  • Officeworks has updated their price now, to $234. Too late for price matching now!

      Price match the 32GB and 64GB models. They're still at $339 and $478. :P

  • Bought a 64GB iPod Touch to accompany my Galaxy S. Loving the flexibility and tools of Android and the awesome apps/games available on the AppStore. Bought it for $444 at JBHiFi. Wanted to Price Match at Officeworks but they did not have the 64GB model in the stores near my place.

EDIT: Do any OzBargainers have advice on this: If there's a new 64GB iPod announced end of this year, what's the best way to go about selling your existing iPod Touch (4th Gen) 64GB and getting the new one for a few extra bucks? eBay? And when's the perfect time to sell? When announced? Any pro-tips?

    • New ones are out in September this year. I doubt there will be any 'major' updates. Probably just a bump in ram and storage capacity or perhaps even a 1080p camera.

In regards to selling, the month before the release (August) would probably be the best time to sell.

    • yes august is ideal, also use a case if you want to sell, as ppl really hate small scratches etc

and if you can, dont use any of the boxed accessories, so the whole set looks as new at sale.

      • Thanks for the advice! Haven't touched any accessories and got a free case too. Hopefully there isn't a new one in September, don't want to deal with selling haha.

          haha

Unfortunately (or fortunately) like every year in September there will be a new one. ;)
