  • great reviews on amazon….theres only 1?

    • +1

Did you click the Amazon US link? There are 14 reviews there.

      • the one you posted is the 2 stage it only has 1 review.

    • Yep did say (and link to) Amazon US. Unfortunately they've linked to and totally different product…which still only has 14 reviews

      • -1

Yes agreed the available reviews are for 4-stage sharpener but from a same brand and assumingly with similar quality.

  • +2

Tungsten pull through sharpener don't do good things for knives.

If you really want a pull through then look at something like the Global Minosharp.

    • Or just get a good steel sharpening rod or a whetstone.

      • +2

A steel is for honing, not sharpening.

Whetstones are great but most people can't be bothered learning how to use them.

For people considering a crappy carbide pull through the Minosharp is a decent alternative that's easier to use while still giving acceptable results

        • Didn't know that about the honing rods. Interesting to read.

        • +1

+1 for the Minosharp whetstone wheel set. I have a set of stones but hardly use them because the wheels do a good enough touch-up on my Jap knives.

  • Just what I need for sharpening two knives at once!

    More efficient for Freddy Krueger.
