Dishonored 2 is an amazing game. Would highly recommend for $5!

  • +5

Awesome, got Dishonored 2 and Doom. Not a fan to keep paying for an MMO. WOO!

    • +1

Actually, ESO is pay once, like GW2. There's a separate subscription if you'd prefer that but you can just pay once and come back whenever you want. You'd still have to buy the current expansions if you want to dabble in the new shit though.

      • I thought eso was ftp?

        • Nope, B2P. There is a free week on right now though.

      • Are you sure you're not talking about the Tamriel Unlimited version?

        • ?
"Tamriel Unlimited version" is the base game, morrowind and the like are expansions upon the base game. You need the base game to play the game, which is buy once, there's no subscription.

    • subscription gives you all the DLC (which you can buy separately) double bank space (to store your items) a crafting bag( to hold all your crafting good) and i think 500 coins per month, to spend in the crown shop… so basically as Kaneissik said, not required to play the game with. I've gotten by just fine with out.. the main advantage of the subscription is that you dont have to worry about inventory management and you can be a hoarder, but my current character has about 250 slots anyways.

  • If only I had prime.

If anybody in perth CBD/central area can pick up an extra Dishonored 2, that'd be great.

    • +4

You can sign up for a free 30 day trial.

      • I've already had that a long time ago. I'm on the fence about buying it (I have zilch interest in twitch and amazon video streaming)

        • +1

It takes like 5 minutes to setup a new account and prime trial it.

    • Order 10 copies to qualify for free shipping.

  • Just purchased Doom. Thanks OP!

  • Duplicate?

    • Other deal posted was from Harvey Norman

    • +2

i dont mind if its a duplicate. i think ive seen this deal 4 times now, and feel good about it each time

  • Yay, they priced matched HN

  • Bought Dishonored 2 and Doom don't know why, paid $4 used $6 credit from Amazon.

  • Dishonored 2 $25?

    • Should be on back-order now.

  • +3

If Amazon price match dude was on his game last night I could've got these delivered for free, rather than having to pick up from ol' mate Gerry's.

    Oh well.

    • Free delivery from HN via Shipster, if you picked up a free 12-months subscription offer.

      • +3

*If the order was over $25.

      • I only spent $10.

        • +1

I shouldn't have made my comment. I've forgotten about the $25 qualifying amount. Sorry.

          • +1

@alvian: No worries. It reminded me that I have a 12 month Shipster trial that I never use, so your efforts weren't all for naught.

    • Gerry doesn't appreciate professionals shopping in his store

    • Same. Ordered from Gerry this morning and order still isnt ready for pickup. Next time I'll be more patient and wait for Amazon to price match!

  • Playing through dishonored 2, stealth rub(no detections, kills and no powers). It's great.

    • Stealth rubs are the best kinds of rubs.

      • Mmmmm, would you like a stealth rub with your fries sir?

(I noticed my typo but it was too late to edit by then haha)

  • Any clue if Dishonoured 2 comes with a steam code or is it disc?

    • It comes with a Steam code and a DVD. On PC the game is 60gb so the DVD only preloads a small portion of the game and the rest must be downloaded from Steam. Same situation for Fallout 4, DOOM & Wolfenstein II

  • Another huge fan of Dishonoured 2. Gameplay is awesome if you love stealth games and the lore is enchanting with "The Heart". It's a beautifully made game with three games in total but new players won't really need to play the first game to know what's going on i.e. it would help with the first game to know the heroes' past but the main villains don't really link to the first.

For fans of Gotham, Robin Lord Taylor is voice actor in the game (Penguin in Gotham)

    • +1

The time device mission is one of the most unique missions Ive ever played. Loved it!

      • YES! That was an innovative way to design the gameplay! I'm surprised Bioshock didn't do it to that extreme.

Pro Tip for Laughs: I loved knocking out soldiers and pile people by stacking them in a room near someone sleeping. Trigger the alarm and sneak out and watch the dramas unravel. :P

  • All back in stock.

    Arriving 28 Dec. 2018 - 1 Jan. 2019 XDD

    • Looks like dishonoured 2 is gone to me.

      • Just gone again … that is quick

  • Wooo! Snagged a copy of Dishonored 2 for a fiver. Awesome value.
    Thanks OP!

  • man I want dishonored 2 :(

  • Stupid question maybe but I don't have a DVD drive so can I just download the game and use the key it comes with?

    • from what people in this post have said yes

      • Awesome picked up one of DOOM and Elder Scrolls. Too bad dishonoured sold out.

        • Yeah that's the one I really want it's a shame it's gone. (It came back once, I don't think it will again)

          • @Ostrk: Seems like it's in stock at my local Harvey Norman for $5 so I might pick it up there.

          • +1

@Ostrk: If you actually missed out I could pick up a second while I'm there and send you the key for $5 if you're interested.

            • @AdamFury: Very kind of you but I'm not that much of in a hurry to play the game :P

              • @Ostrk: Haha no worries. Hopefully some more Amazon stock comes in for it too.

                • +1

@AdamFury: Urgh i had to do the hn way. Wanted es for me and my brother.. its the first pc game we ever bought when we moved to our current town as kids 😂. How good was og morrowind, i still play my goty version!

                  • @Seedy seed: Picked up Morrowind and DOOM on the Amazon deal. I have got DOOM on my PS4 but I might be a bit better at it on my PC haha.

Morrowind I haven't tried yet so I'll be interested to give it a go.

Yeah got the the last of Dishonored 2 at my local HN, waiting on click and collect now!

                • @AdamFury: Yeah I hope so but realistically I need to tell myself not to buy it. I have bought so many games recently that I haven't even played yet so I really am kicking myself in the foot by just adding another one to the list.
This is what ozbargain does to you man, before OZB I didn't buy 1/10 of the games I do now.

  • Need price match on wolfenstein

    • You missed it. It happened already. Sold out very quick.

  • Can't add Doom to cart, keeps saying cart is empty? Is it Game Over?

  • Bahhh you snooze you lose! what a bargain. oh well next time :)

  • Has this been expired? Everything is $20 and over.

    • Too later, try Hardly Normal.

  • I refreshed morrowind every couple of minutes all morning until lunch and they wouldn’t lower price, I wasn’t committed enough.

  • Finally received Doom, still waiting for Dishonored 2.
