Was about to say the same, but this one is indicating ALL tests, not just the Adelaide test. So, not a dupe.

Ohh didn’t notice that. Thanks for clarifying.

        • +1

          No worries :-)

I'd prefer donate & watch live cricket than spending on Maccas large fries :P

  • Hopefully the one in SCG goes to the 5th day

    • Or at least be competitive on the 5th day

  • +2

The way Australia has been playing, they'll be lucky to get to the third day

  • A $2 coin is the smallest I have. Do they give change?

    • +1

Actually I went to one of those gold coin donation matches last year and when you get to the gates donation is voluntary.

  • +1

Wait…so the MCG boxing day test is entry by coin donation?

    • +4

No because Boxing Day is the FIRST day not the FIFTH day

  • Sorry being a noob. So how do we get this one? Is there a link that we can buy tickets or do we just rock up to the stadium on the day?

    • +2

No tickets, just bring a gold coin.

    • +1

Nope you just rock up and give a $1 or $2 coin.

    • +3

      Just rock up.

For information, test matches in the modern day are rarely making it to a fifth day and by the fifth day the match result has usually been decided. An exception would be a day like today in Adelaide where both teams are still a chance and it could potentially be an extremely exciting day's play.

      • Thanks, agreed. However for MCG test the fifth day is a Sunday. If it ever gets to that it would be nice to be in the ground even for a session or two. Exciting.

      • +1

Rarely? The Adelaide Test match is in it's 5th day today. The previous 5 Test matches played in Australia last summer all went to a 5th day.

      • Still a chance!!!!???? Nice joke to start the day :-)
I wish we were still a chance. No chance I reckon but I hope to eat my words.

  • Well they even go to the 5th day the way Aussies are tracking

  • Depends, are they paying us cash?

  • Couldnt pay me enough to and sit with a bunch of racist pigs

Entry is now free for the MCG test
