Same price at Aldi from 15th December with 60 days change of mind

    • Depends how much stock Aldi secures too..

At least with Big W you don't have to fight for one.

Just need to dress as a Bogan, I recommend K-mart cargo pants and flannalete shirt.

Easy, go to aldi and don't attempt to fight. If you don't secure one, head down to big W and grab one

        • +3

You can't go to ALDI and not fight.

@Scab: I’ve seen videos so can vouch for this.

    • BigW has 90 day change of mind, and this one has the "origin" direct drive attachment for the same price, so it's actually better.

  • Saw some in next Aldi catalogue. Not sure what day

ALDI is the V6 Animal whereas this is the V6 Animal Origin which supposedly

The Direct Drive cleaner head has 75% more brush bar power than the Dyson V6 Animal vacuum.

Why would someone buy from Aldi, hand down your OzBargain membership immediately. Buy with wish gift cards at 5% off, Woolworths reward points and AMEX points on GC purchase. I have no idea why would anyone go to Aldi if it's same price in BigW !!

    • Legend.

  • Is the V7 animal from Amazon for $373 a better deal? (Assuming you have Prime membership)

    • +1

AFAIK the difference in the models (6,7,10) is the battery life mostly, and then the range within each model (animal, origin, absolute etc) is just different attachments. the V10 as a HEPA filter built in i think.

      • Thank you

  • How do people find a 20 minute battery life? Seems like you have to do the house just a couple rooms at a time.

    • I think you would be surprised how long it takes to actually vacuum a house. It might feel like it takes longer because the job sux. With the handheld vacuum, you arent keeping your finger on the trigger while you shift things, move between rooms etc. Between those things, I find the time ample to vacuum a 3 bedroom house.

Another thing about stick vacuums in general, they are small, light and dont feel half as much effort as getting a big barrel vacuum out and lugging it around a house. I find I vacuum more because it is so easy (so less dust because more vacuuming)

"Gift Cards cannot currently be redeemed at Big W online." - everydaygiftcards.com.au
Can anyone confirm if the egift cards can be used to purchased from Big W online's store?
If I go to check out on Big W, and click WISH gift card payment option, it wants card number and card pin. Does the egift card include both of these..?

  • why is it nigh impossible to find a simple chart that compares all of these dyson V* vacuum cleaners in one place? Is it a ploy to make us confused so we spend more?

Officeworks haven't matched the gift cards yet, so you can price match to get them 19.25% off :)
