Never mind the tip , feel the girth .

      • +9

Bunnings will beat any girth by 10%.

Will this fit in a Mazda 3? And anyone recommend any decorations to go with it?

    • Yes it will fit, I carried it in a bus with my hands

      • Thanks, might grab 1 tomorrow.

      • That's what I did wrong. I was carrying mine with my feet.

+1 for Kmart calling it the Christmas Tree. Not "green plastic tree".

  • Does it come with presents?

  • Is it real?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say "No".

    spruce up your Christmas décor

    Brilliant work.

I'd settle for 9.6cm of girth.

Did you really reply to yourself just to make a meme?

Like one of those frog picture things? I don't understand.

Had a look at this at Kmart. It's very thin and disappointing tbh.

    • It's actually not as thin as someone would expect and it's pretty good, even for original 15$ price.

Bought the tree this weekend as a last minute buy ( pretty much all good trees were sold out already) and didn't regret it, might actually keep it for next year too.

    • Perfect for a smallish apartment

    • That’s cos it’s made in China

      • Watch out Americans. No more cheap plastic Christmas trees for you!

    Flame retardant

That's not acceptable in this st May and age. They should say flame special needed

A "Click & Collect admin fee", seriously?

    • +1

I believe it’s now free over 25. Buy more things then return it when you collect.

  • Nice deal, gotta check this out

  • Big W Midland WA had something similar to this for the same price (half price - was $12). It was truly horrid, better of paying $25 (I think it was) for one that wasn't terrible.

Edit: This one, others here - all half price

    • Seems like Big W clear all their stock before Xmas. And Kmart trees too these days apparently. Damn always used to be Kmart trees for one or two dollars on boxing day.

I too prefer to use an "approx" measurement when it comes to girth

It's great that you can just buy a tree each year then dump it on a whale's head when your done to save storage.

  • Went and picked up a tree. The $6 tree is indeed terribad, it's a total embarrassment to have it in someones home and I wouldn't want to have one even if someone paid me.

I invested a bit more and bought the $19 tree

    • Looks like the marketing worked 😆

  • Arrgh! the other day I was in KMART and asked them to price match this with the bunnings deal and they refused. Would have bought if they said $6 at that time… Now here it is at $6, still a couple of $'s more than bunnings!
