TP-Link Archer C5400 Tri-Band Router with OPENVPN - $405 at ARC Computers

70

Went looking for a router to configure VPN for the home network, came across this little beauty at Officeworks for $498

Main criteria it needed was AC wifi and OPENVPN compatibility

Was able to pricematch company called ARC computers based in Silverwater, Sydney NSW here as they had the router for $405 on sale

Officeworks beat it by 5%, and they have afterpay so I used that of course :)

Total saving of just under $110. Get on it!

MOD: Price match is not a deal. Title & price changed to ARC Computers.

  • That thing makes me start humming like close encounters of the 3rd kind.

  • Well atleast ASUS isn't alone for over the top looking routers…

Though ASUS still takes the title easily.

Somehow I think if you considering spending this much on a single router , you really should be looking at the Ubiquiti gear or the various mesh based AP systems.

  • Please note that although it has openvpn, it tp link usually only incorporate the openvpn server and not the client. I have an Asus dsl-ac68u and got a Tp-link vr600v for my parents thinking it has openvpn, great. But it only has the server. The software is half baked and has issues that I all ready logged support cases for. The software really let's down Tp-link products. I would highly recommend the Asus over the this
