[WA] Swan Taxi 20% off (Minimum $10 Fare) @ Swan Taxi App

80

Swan Taxi in WA are giving 20% off for those using the swan taxi app. I found the app easily in App Store.

When signing up for the app you’ll need to verify your mobile number and the deal will come up straight away as a pop up.

Discount runs until 2nd Jan. there is some fine print - the main one is minimum $10 fare.

It should work out cheaper than Uber in non peak swan taxi times (eg weekday daytimes). It’s probably cheaper than Uber on weekends and nights. Swan cabs have a $2 airport surcharge in WA and similar surcharge after midnight on Friday and sat night so factor all that in when comparing to Other companies pricing eg Uber govt surcharge and their occasional peak pricing surcharges.

  • I have been using Shofer. New, clean cars, cheaper than a Swan taxi (at normal prices). Not trying to turn this into a flame war, but I will not readily forget the trip in the taxi with the lit up "check engine" light, or the one where the driver did not match the photo of the ID. I did also have some good taxi drivers, but it's been a mixed bag.

    • +1

taxi with the lit up "check engine" light,

The orange light does not need immediate attention. A red oil warning is another matter.

  • I Still rather pay that little bit more and not have to argue with cabbies who take dodgy routes or be stuck in cars that should be yellow stickered. I never had a good experience in cabs. Sorry am sure there are good ones around unfortunately none came my way.

  • Nasty app. Anyone know whether the fair on the screen before you confirm the booking is the discounted price?

  • C'mon guys, atleast they are trying!

  • Done with Taxis, hadn’t used them in ages, then caught 3 for work last week and remembered why Uber and Ola are killing them. The taxis I were in were old bangers, flogged out with sticky floor mats. No care taken on the vehicle, inside or out. Then at the end, after they magically add extra charges that you don’t know are legit or not (usually up to $7, didn’t bother arguing as work was paying), they then slug you for using a card to pay, like it’s 1991 and everyone still should be carry cash. Taxis are dinosaurs and will be extinct soon.
