  • They havn't dispatched mine from the previous order yet :/
Dispatch on the 27th of December apparently.

    • Ordered just then and mine says it'll be coming Tuesday.

Is this game actually any good?

    • Good question.

    • Not my cup of tea, since this series are better with turn base tactic style

    • By no means a bad game but it can't top its turn base one

    • Its a fun game, the story and character development is almost nothing though. I enjoyed it but eventually reached a point where I didn't care about collecting every single thing

Yes it is very good especially if you like Fire Emblem and warriors games. It is perhaps the best Warriors style game they have made. Has a bit of tactics behind it and a lot of content. Well worth $30

Yeah it's a bit of a niche because you kind of have to be familiar with both series to appreciate this crossover title. Don't expect it to be like the turn-based Fire Emblem game, and don't expect it to just be another Dynasty Warriors game (though primarily the gameplay is hack and slash).

      • I didn't like the Dynasty Warriors series but I liked Fire Emblem and thus enjoyed it. However when I tried Hyrule Warriors on Switch I didn't like it much at all :/ Too many annoying goals maybe

    • Repetitive hack and slash game. I used to like this warriors games as a kid, now I can stay interested for more than 20 minutes.

      Great graphics though.

I regret buying my copy for $55 back in the day. I beat 5-8 missions and it got boring with the rock-paper-scissors (lance/sword/axe) style of combat. Just move the joystick to face the enemy and spam light-attack or heavy-attack.

For $30 it's not bad. It's a nice price if you want to try it out. Has a B-grade game feel to it though. Doesn't compare to Kingdom Hearts in terms of ARPG quality.

        • Dw, I regret buying "berserk and the band of the hawk", which is another warriors game, for $57.
B-grade is a great way to describe these games.

I've never played a kingdom hearts game but I own the first one on ps2.

  • Thanks OP, missed out on this last time and even though its not a true Fire Emblems game I am happy to pick it up for this price.

Wish Octopath Traveler could be this price, one can wish.

    • It's selling too well to be on discount

  • Never got into the turned based main series. Does this have any good RPG aspects or is it just a hack and slash?

    • It's predominantly hack and slash with some strategic components to it.

  • +2

Lame hack and slash. Spend the extra money and get Octopath
