For those that have missed out on the EB code for the KD55A8F you may want to consider this if your keen to get it for Christmas with David Jones gift cards at 10% off it works out to be: $2519.10

Update cashback works on GCs which brings it down to $2239.10

    Each to their own, I did post a deal for the Panasonic panel a month or so ago but actually ended up with the Sony through the EB special. Have never had any issues with any Bravia so decided to stick with them.

    From reading comments and reviews they both have pros and cons but both are great TVs overall.
