Pack of 20 SanDisk Ultra 64GB Micro SD Card $20.95 from Amazon AU [Pricing Error]

This might be another amazon au pricing error or listing error. I stumbled across this while trying to use the credit given from the dishwashing tablet pricing error from amazon au. The listing says its for a pack of 20? Unsure if this is accurate or not. If it is, $20 for 20x 64gb micro sd cards is an absolute steal. If it is another error, they might give us more credit for having incompetent website editors.

If inappropriate, please delete. Thanks.

Edit: the SanDisk 64gb cards don't seem to add to cart anymore. Try using one of the other ones listed in the comments, or just try to find another "pack of 20" item if you wish to join the 'amazon's headache party' .

I have contacted Oztech via the amazon app and Amazon directly via phone. The Amazon rep has contacted Oztech asking for 19 more cards to be delivered. I did have to provide a screenshot of the item saying it was a pack of 20, which I have done. I have been told to wait 1-2 business days for a response, otherwise I need to complete something called an A-to-Z claim.

      • otherwise I need to complete something called an A-to-Z claim.

Lol, that name sounds like a procedure with 26 steps of BS designed to make you give up before completing it.

      • -2

Oztech have replied to my email via amazon stating:

"Hi, Unfortunately, this listing was incorrect and it was only for one item, not a pack of 20. We have since fixed up this error. We sincerely apologise for the mistake."

Time to call Amazon again, this time with references to ACCC guidelines for bait/false advertising. Not only was any effort for a correction notice made, but no attempt to refund/remedy the issue either.

        • -4

          I contacted Amazon via phone.

I was told there was no way I could be supplied the other 19 cards and the advertisement was a mistake with Amazons sincerest apologies. After a small discussion regarding retailers obligations within Australian Consumer Law, I was once again apologised to and offered a $10 account credit.

I refused the $10 credit and asked for a full refund for the item from Oztech, which has now been requested. I am awaiting further communication from Oztech.

Has anyone who has received them checked to see if they are knock offs or genuine items?

Looks like my shipment via DHL has been halted

  • We're contacting you about order #[OMITTED]. We recently discovered an error that caused Samsung 32GB EVO Plus Class 10 Micro SDHC with Adapter, Black to be displayed with an incorrect price for the quantity listed on the product detail page.

Despite our best efforts, with over 80 million items available on our website, unfortunately pricing errors can occur.

To help make up for the inconvenience, we've sent a single pack to you at no cost, and refunded the cost of your order to your initial payment method.

Awesome - free 32GB card and I didn't even have to contact them!
I'm kind of regretting not having greater faith in this and getting a card with more storage however…

    • I'm almost thinking that doing nothing and letting them contact you was probably the best course of action. Now it's just honestly system, as they said if it gets delivered I have to reject it, and if I'm not home and it's left in mail to call to arrange pick up of the item. They have given me an advanced refund. What's amazing is the amount of different solutions everyone is getting presented. You would think they would have had a notice go around to all customer service as to a standard solution. They would have saved a heap of time and possibly money

      • Yeah exactly, I figured I'd wait to see what other people have gotten before trying to complain myself on the weekend but ended up not having to bother!

I'm amazed also at the variety of solutions. Compo goes from $0 to $30 +/- the SD card which is incredible.

    • No email from Amazon yet :(

    • +1

Got the same email! Happy days! Only really needed one anyways, so I didn't worry too much about chasing it up with them. Can't complain about a free card. : )

  • +1

    Lucky doers getting free cards.

I cancelled my order as soon as it became apparent that we would not be getting 20 cards for the relatively low price. Didn't want the hassle of sending a single card back. But some of you have come out ahead, despite the mix up. Good stuff.

    • lol you genuinely believed you'd be getting 20 at that price?

      • For the first hour this was deal was listed on Ozbargain, yes, I was hoping the 20 pack was what we would get dispatched.

Then reality set in, like confirmation from the seller, the total weight of the package etc.

        • -1

lala land. The 1st 11 words of the post should have given you a clue.

          • @gimme: Do you get a kick out of being a jerk?

            • +1

@Ge3ks: ok I'll stop. Although I find it irritating when people pick the 3rd out of 2 good options and then play the 'victim' card. In your case you only did the former.

    • +1

Same Geeks. I cancelled when the question was asked of the seller and he confirmed it was just one card.

  • “You ordered the item below, but the package was returned to us by the carrier. We’ve issued your refund.”

Tracking shows the item made its way to Sydney from the US and is now on its way back to the US.

    • Got the same thing on one of my orders, but strangely tracking says it's being delivered today….

edit: Nevermind - UPS tracking is saying it's been returned back to the states

"As requested by the sender, the package is being returned. Contact the sender for additional information. / The package will be returned to the sender."

    • Same. Retuned and refunded.

    • Live chat isn't able to offer any compensation on the return. Lame

Might try calling them later today.

    • From which seller did you buy from?
And how many orders did you make?

  • +1

So much wasted time and resources with this deal.

    • -1

I wasted no time apart from ordering the item. Although wasted a lot of time reading some inane comments here though.

      • Well what are you doing here then?

        • -1

          Reading the clever comments.

  • Got an email this morning saying that items are shipped.
Will update when I receive them.

  • -5

Shipped from Kentucky to Hawaii to Sydney, now being sent back to Kentucky. Will be given a refund when they receive it. No credit offered. Poor service too.

    • Which cards did you order and from which seller please?

      • 64gb one from Amazon US.

    • +3

poor service because you are not getting a refund straight away or poor service because you did no manage to rort any freebies?

      • -4

Poor service that I sent them an email within a day of ordering, and got back a barely legible response back which suggested a referral to 2nd level support, then after 3 days I'd heard nothing further and wasn't keen on having to return the incorrect item, so I had to follow up again.

The fact that they are turning the item back after it's already gone halfway across the world is just funny and wasteful tbh.

But yeah, the passive aggressive reply is appreciated…

  • +3

Yep, got 5 64gb cards delivered today even though they said they would cancel the order. Got my refund tho, and $10 voucher. So in the end I got paid $10 for 5 x 64gb cards lol

    • +1

      Whoa that's awesome.

    • Luckly you!! I got 3 orders all been shipped, one by DHL already on it's way back to Amazon didn't even leave the State. another order got an email has been refunded. Will see how my other 2 orders if they'll get sent back

    • Got refunded for 3x64gb, but card are coming or not… no clue, since they're still travelling. Might come to me or make a u-turn :p

  • Second order also cancelled

Got a $5 voucher for the first order and $10 voucher for the second cancelled order.

  • Now when I go in to my Amazon app, while it says that it's been shipped, and is arriving Wednesday, January 9, when I click to track package within Amazon, it says undeliverable - the package was returned to the seller.

When I check the courier (i-Parcel) it just says "In transit".

I need to contact Amazon, but why am I unable to find the live chat option in the app?
I only get the option to email or call.

    Can someone advise please?

    Thanks!

    • Same as me but they already refunded me so all good.

You have to use their call back service.

      • Hmmmm… just trying to figure out how other people found the live chat option - purely curious

        • Under help list at the very bottom.contact us

    • -1

Same here… I just sent them a quick email. They got back with a VERY long (apologetic) response. In Summary

Delivery cancelled/returned according to the status
      Full Refund issued
      $10 credit
FREE priority shipping on my next order.

  • +1

    Thanks for that!

Just finished chatting… agent was very nice and understanding. Managed to get $30 credit ($15 for each order), but doesn't look like I'll be getting any free Micro SD cards

    • +1

How did you convince them to give you $30 credit? :)

      • Yeah I just got a thanks for playing.. refund will be 2- 10days

I had ordered 1 ( pack of 20) when it was active listing
just got off a call with Amazon AU to check about the order .
They say the order has been cancelled . To compensate they offered $50 gift voucher
    What others have got ?

    • Lucky you. I just got $5.

      Proof or gtfo.

I got nothing, waiting on a refund. 2-10 days apparently.

      • -1

Lol probably a typo or bs… $10 sounds about right

  • O_o

  • Received my one card yesterday. Just got off the phone to customer service. Got a full refund and was told to keep the card. Not a bad outcome at all!

  • My 2nd order was shipped back to seller
I called Amazon to ask what happened, asked to then speak with supervisor and CSR pretended to impersonate the supervisor (as I could see his name still chatting to me) after claiming he transferred the chat to them.

Asked them to arrange a call back from head office in Australia to inquire why they are impersonating a supervisor.

  • So even though my order has been cancelled based on my live chat, the last update reads as follows:
    Latest update: Thursday, Dec 20
11:36am - Returning to Seller AU

Considering the item was supposedly coming from Amazon US, I'm rather curious as it says AU!

    Anyone else seeing this also?

And when I track the package on iParcel, it just says "In transit"…

(Basically I'm desperate for this to arrive! :)

Apparently, I now own Blue Origin. They said it was the least they could do considering the circumstances.

Jeff offered me that but I said let someone else have that as I was happy with 20% of Amazon shares that he gave me. Gotta be happy with the result!

All those OzBargain amateurs who thought they scored with a $5 credit that took them half an hour to wrangle.

They made fun of my name and hung up.

  • third and final order cancelled. no SD card for me. Amazon gave me another $10 promo card

  • Parcel was intercepted here before local delivery and sent back.

  • So these $10 or $XX credit people are receiving. Do they only only apply to amazon items like kindle, echo?
    https://www.amazon.com.au/s/ref=bl_dp_s_web_2496748051?ie=UT…

Mine only seems to apply to these items. Not so great compensation if thats the case.

    • Only items sold by Amazon AU. Most bargains are sold by amazon au anyway so all good

Found a parcel at doorstep with 4 x64 gb sd card.Contacted them via chat on 17th and I was told the DHL delivery will be redirected to sender later on.Confirmation email received yesterday with order cancelled and refunded the amount $74 back to Credit card-still not available on bank statement.
Can someone tell me,how to find the $5 voucher offered to me on Amazon chat.

  • I saw my order status "Undeliverable - Your package was returned to seller". So I contacted them, the person who I chatted told me that the parcel was damaged and that's why they have return it to the seller. Then I asked for replacement, and got told there is price error for that item so it can't be replaced. Then I got offered $10 credit, so I took that. Don't know why know BS about parcel damaged in the first place rather than just tell the truth about price error.

Got 2x 64Gb cards today, jumped on live chat, got 'em refunded and told to keep the cards, no credit offered.
Added bonus was it padded out my other stuff from US for free Prime shipping.
Could have used an extra $10 credit but oh well, free cards are free.

  • All 3 or my orders have been refunded. One had been returned and 2 are still wait and see haha

  • I got refund and on live chat $10 credit.
When I track the item it showing will deliver on this Saturday!!

    • Which delivery company? Mine was UPS, no update since 17 Dec…

  • -1

Yeah got about 6 free sd cards, 2 of which were genuine Samsung u3 64gb. I honestly dreaded the return shipping. I can’t believe they let me keep the items and gave me a refund.

  • I also got a free 400gb card and 30 bucks credit so super happy

  • -2

What the hell, ordered on 15 December just after the deal was posted got nothing. Amazon didn't contact me. Just refunded the $25.66 after holding onto it a week last month (only just reviewed my CC statement).

No gift voucher, no call, no single/five/six-pack of SDs as consolation.

Not even a reason specified just generally: "Your package is being returned to Amazon for one of the following reasons: Damaged in-transit, carrier couldn't locate your address, or refused by the recipient."

So what is it; damaged? Couldn't locate my address? I know I didn't refuse it!

What a waste of time getting my hopes up, feel salty especially seeing others ordered and seem to have been treated much better!

    • the word got out about the professionals :)
      same for me, got nothing.
