I enjoy trying out the free apps too. Just wish iTunes had a half decent way to manage/organise them rather than one long list…

There are apps and websites that manage apps, one of the apps is called appbazar.

      • Hmmm… How does that manage downloaded apps within iTunes (on my PC) and/or on a iPhone/iPod touch?

        • All your apps are stored as files in the spot where you tell I tunes to store them (you can find this in the advanced settings) Programs just make use of this in the same way Itunes does, but they do it a bit differently.

IMO Itunes does a pretty good job of keeping it all in order, and being able to 'group' the apps when you drag an app on top of another app is really nifty.

Cant see how you can organise them much better than that,- personal preference I guess!!

          Cheers!

        • For a relatively small number of apps it's not a problem but there are 10,000+ apps and there is the limitation of only 12 apps/folder. I already have to spread my travel guides over three folders and I'm relatively new to the app store. Also many users may not want a 1-to-1 sync of all apps on PC on their mobile device (some games take several hundred Mb). On the PC you just have one long list with some arbitrary preset genres in iTunes - No ability allowed to group them under Library/Apps, no date field to sort on etc. Limitations on managing files/apps soon become apparent as you use the device more (It basically has the feature set of a PC but doesn't yet have the files app/data mgmt capabilities. No doubt The Cupertino users are experiencing the same things and will add related features in future versions).

  • game is awesome thank op

  • thanks!

  • damn it! chuchu rocket won't work in my 1st gen ipod touch. I open the game get a white screen for 2 seconds then the game crashes and I am back in the menu. Any way I can fix this?
