Best price for the Megaboom was with free beers, but dang these speakers are falling in price fast.
Well it was pretty obvious that the $299 price was just to establish the RRP, then the price would fall heavily. The earlier UE models used the same pricing strategy.

You can always turn down the Bass in the EQ. Bass is generally harder to produce (in terms of volume, if not clarity) and so it's generally marketed more.

also the 2 is so much better than the 3 but usually the older products are cheaper than the latest.

UE Roll 2 is an amazing speaker and $67 is a great price for it.
