BenQ GL2240M FullHD LED 21.5" Monitor JBHiFi $169

80

Not sure if this is nation wide although the JB in Canberra had a ton of these instock. I've attached the reciept in case any one decides to price match. Oh, and it's instore only as far as I know.

  • The quality of the BenQ GL Series is pretty good, I have one myself. I picked up a 24" GL2440HM for $205 just a few weeks ago, so the price at JB is nothing special.

Not a bad price for walk-in at JB although MSY etc have them for around $150 (if they have stock). I guess you would get slightly better warranty/return support from JB. Oh you might also want to blank out the desktop folder name in the pic that posted - just a thought :P

    • Epic spot..Korean drama based in Australia for the win! (hope it wasn't a name of some prono)

Good price for JB, which Jb was it? Woden, Canberra City, Fyshwick, Beloconnen?

      • Haha yeah that's the one (Korean Drama).

        It was at Belconnen.

      • and now I looked at the receipt again I can see JG HiFi Belconnen on the top
        What an Idiot I am!

  • i'm looking at getting a new monitor for gaming (mostly fps) does anyone know if this would be a good option or are there better ones around at this price point?

    • I think this monitor is great for pc gaming (5ms response time).

Hmm… As far as I know not really. This here is probably the best you could get from a large instore retailer.

    Viewsonic 23.6 $185 at fluidtek http://www.fluidtek.com.au/

But actually I saw they have it for $165 a few days ago if I remember it correctly.

  • Honestly if its at all possible to stretch it, go to Harris Tech and get the Dell U2311. The fact the dell is an IPS screen, is larger, and has 3 years warranty, usb hub / displayport… if the coupon for the U2311 is still valid for $227 (see ozb thread) the difference is worth an extra $58.

cheapest is 135 but you pay for delivery ofcourse

    • actually it's $149 for the cheapest since the first one is some bundle crap where you have to buy a tower case for an additional $85.
