nah, it's $159.20 - I don't count a gift card in 5 months time as a reduction to the asking price today

  • Bought this a few weeks back.
Myer had it listed to $169.95 on their website. Good Guys priced matched to $169 for me.
Received an email yesterday that my cashback claim was "validated"

Great iron, goes through water quick. Have been told it is heavy but I have no issues.

Curious to know what is special about this iron versus one that costs half as much? $160 is a lot to drop on an iron, so need to understand the features that justify the cost.

    • It doesn't just produce steam - it makes elite steam 🤣

  • I purchased one of the eligible irons but dont have the receipt, do you think BigW can reprint it?

I purchased this 2 weeks ago to replace a 4 years old $79 Philips iron. I'm bit underwhelmed, it does what they say but I don't think it's worth paying $199. Apart from smart steam/ temperature function, ironing quality is just about average. (I my work clothes every Sunday, so a regular user here)

    • Agreed. I did exactly the same thing as you. First time I used it I knew it was a downgrade. Stick with an iron with manual temp control.

Disagree with the naysayers. Got one a few weeks ago and a definite upgrade from the Tefal we had. $50 rebate came through this week. The auto heat and massive amount of steam it produces works great.

    • Yeah get through the water really quick though

  • Cashback is from participating retail store - is Goodguys eBay counted as a participating retail store for this promotion?
