Had these in Parramatta a few weeks ago. Really not a great tasting drink.

    • has the lemon lime and it tasted sweet, i would have expected a cleaner citrus flavor ….

guess they are trying to reproduce that sparking mineral water with a piece of lemon experience you get at some restaurants.

no sugar or artificially sweetened drinks are an interesting option , but then i guess you have tap water and pure lemon juice or lime juice in those plastic bottles at the supermarket which tastes more natural than the frantelle.

    • Unfortunately agree. I bought one of these to try and threw it away after a sip.

Drinking one now. It's not as good as tap water, but it quenches your thirst, and you can get a 10c refund on the can. So here's an upvote.

tap water is hard to beat for clean tastes and value for money, advantage beverage companies have is the ability to sell it chilled from the fridge, and people don’t always have a bag / backpack to carry water around in eg when out to lunch.

those insulated steel flasks are getting cheaper and i top up from the water chiller at work before heading home, and lots of cafes now have free water if they also sell coffee, so you can have free water with your lunch, though some places don’t and only offer / sell water in bottles.

there was a big deal on war on waste for supermarket bags in victoria , but that has died down and no follow up on drink containers in victoria .
