  • Great show - comes with a strong language warning.

    • -1

      I didn't notice any f*$&$ng strong language!

      • well you weren't listening well enough; you c word. (Frankly it is the only swear word I refuse to actually use).

        • Me too - you b!

          • @McFly: b! - pftttt - amateur swearer.

            • @try2bhelpful: Well you're a d then (more insulting than c because it's the next letter up.)
And also an e (I don't know what e stands for, you'll have to use your imagination.)

              • @McFly: Then I’ll call you a z then. Girl germs, no returns.

Or try your luck in the lottery - great seats for $40 each (max two tickets) if you win! Entries open tomorrow (Wednesday) at midday and close midday Thursday. You find out on Friday if you're a winner.

    • Too late, already bought 2x tickets at $65 each…

    • Just entered the lottery. Thanks for the heads-up.

    • Thanks for this…

I entered…. and didn’t note that there was only 8 per lottery :

      And then..

      Today…

      WON…. for Saturday 2pm session

      NICE

      • Where were the seats?

        • Up in A row / dress circle - nice front row upstairs.

          • @tonyjg: sounds like good seats, would be interested to see what you think.

Maybe one day it will come to Perth.

  • I bought two A-reserve tickets for $140 each just yesterday. Any idea on whether ticketmaster can refund me back the difference?

    • Doubtful. All ticket sales are final.

    • Depends if you have credit card purchase insurance with your card.
Maybe look at what purchase insurance your card comes with (if any)

  • Cheers OP, snapped up 2 AA Stall tickets. So stoked!

Most minorities get to decide what they find offensive and people accept that. Some minorities have people who are not even members of that minority falling over themselves to identify and decry the slightest slight or offence.
    Some minorities do not.
This definitely falls into the latter category.

    • It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more… than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so f**king what."
      - Stephen Fry

When it comes to comedy no minority really gets to decide what's offensive.

  • Thanks OP, booked for next week, bargain price, was not willing to pay fill price (I'm sure its worth it but too expensive)

  • Awesome thanks booked for a show. My mate has seen this 3 times and was telling me about it the other day. Perfect timing

  • Thanks OP! I just booked two tickets for me and my gf. so excited! :)

  • Any suggestions on which seats are best?

    • +1

I've heard around Row L is perfect. Obviously aim for as center as possible

    • Don't know about the Sydney theatre but in Melbourne we saw it three rows from the front, dead middle, in the stalls and you could see the sweat on their faces; but you lose a bit of the overall effect. We then saw it from the dress circle, a bit off to one side, but there was a very small bit we didn't see of the airport scene - as the action was a bit obscured by scenery. However, I still considered both seats very good and I'm glad I saw it from two different perspectives. (Both times the seats were $65 A reserve.) I was surprised just how good the music is.

I would suggest 20 rows back to get the full effect.

  • Great show, saw this in USA. Not as funny as I expected from the creators of South Park but worth it if you have nothing better to do

  • Thank you OP!

  • Or tickets for $50.80… (from Facebook ad)

    • Those would be for seats with very poor vision/obscure angles

Its says ends 24th Dec 1159pm

    • Cheers! They must have extended it :)

Wish they'd do a similar deal for Brisbane before xmas.

    • +1

Me too, hanging out for cheaper Brisbane tickets.

  • Thanks buddy that's my misses Xmas present sorted!

  • If you haven't seen this show, you're doing yourself disservice! It's hilarious!

  • Hello, my name is elder price

The show is one of the most vulgar / offensive / foul language things you could ever see

If it wasn’t for the fact that it was brilliant and I was laughing so hard that my sides felt like bursting; well I would have considered walking out

Do yourself a favour, buy the tickets and watch a great show

Just make sure you turn your moral judgement off first :)

    • Actually, I think it was very moral. It had a lot to say about treating people decently, lying, pompousness, uncaring authority, selfishness, unthinking acceptance of dogma, etc. The difference is they do it in a way that is so entertaining you don't feel you are being lectured to; so you can take from it what you will.

      • I do agree - it has a decent message on both morality and religion

You just have to wade through a pile of poo a mile long to discover it :)

        • That could be a fairly apt description of religion itself.
