    Just a warning they are post pay that mean youxould get charge more if you use over. Also their billing cycle start on 1st every month that means if you start your plan now your credit will get deduct proportionally then when you reach 1st of month you will have insufficient fund fornext month then theywill deduce what ever needed tocover full month

    watch out for the dodgy way they bill prepaid users. you'll get stung for a second month's fee if you don't port out before end of the calendar month you activated the sim

      Not sure if they change but they start charging for the second month like 10 days before your current one finish. And porting out or cancelling could take days. You need to port-out 15 days before the end of your calendar month to be safe. I also remember Vaya start their "month" on the 1st of every month so if you buy 1 month and activate now, you will most like be charge for the second month before you know it.

      Had a horrible experience last time with them with this same kinda deal. $9 is not enough to get me to deal with this mob again.

    Another good deal might as well by flush down the toilet with the activation date. If they want customers, should be activate WITHIN 12 months, not X DAYS!

      They took 2 payments from my credit card months and months after my daughters mum's service with them was discontinued, then refused to discuss the matter with me when contacted, I had to dispute the charges through my bank to get a refund, never again!

    I have been double charged in the past but it was all sorted eventually. Didn't get my $20 security deposit back until I called up and asked for it. I would have been lured into this deal if I wasn't with vaya previously and would have signed up for this deal just for the cashback just like the other sim deals listed on this site. Also note that this is on a PLAN and NOT PREPAID. Seriously not worth the hassle for $9. Read above comments. This was a while back, things could have improved but I won't take the risk.

    If Vaya sucks so much… why would anyone use them?

    Comparing Vaya's $36 plan (15GB) to Aldi.
    Aldi has a $35 prepaid plan, 20GB (can roll over data) and includes international call and text. Plus its on Telstra. Cheaper and better than Vaya.

    My SIM was activated automatically by Vaya on 27 December and today I received a bill for $5.81, for those 4 days in December.

      Can a CashRewards rep please respond.

      Vaya customer service was not much help and just said the $36 I paid on 27 December will cover my last account; if I cancel in January it will make the balance 0, although I still have to pay $5.81. Therefore the total I paid is $36 + $5.81 = $41.81.
