What Has Been The Best Deal You Have Seen/Scored in OzBargain in The 2018 Year?

As the year 2018 draws to a close, it is time to reflect on and rejoice at our Ozbargain victories. I am keen to hear about the best deal/promotion/offer you saw/scored this year!

I will go first.

For me, the best deals I saw are the $2/$5 Jetstar Jingle deals to Perth and Whitsundays.

The best deals I scored-

Free flight to NZ through Stoneleigh (spent $77 on 6 undrinkable wine bottles but it's still a good deal)

Jetstar return flights to Hawaii from Melbourne for $464 per person – So good!

Now your turn, Ozbargain community!

    2ds xl for $79.

  • the best deal is always free, so the 7/11 deals on food are always welcome. prolly only $20 worth, less the fuel of checking store stock.

so apps are good for cheap food (McD) and for complaining about order errors- and getting another item free (KFC).

on the heals of the Galaxy Note 8 for 153, it seem like GG are an easy target of stock substitute stupidity- scored a 500 phone for 320. Are they all Luddites?

the 20% off ebay stacked with gift cards and cashback was good for my PC refresh. saved 120 there

but just knowing where to buy cheap at the 'everyday price' (regular price isnt a deal!) like valvoline motor oil from bunnings for 17 instead of 44 at motor spares.

    thanks for keeping us informed!

      • Don't think it'd be within posting guidelines?

  • Telstra nbn $89 casual plan with free joining fee, free modem, TTV2, google mini, speed boost and $100 welcome credit.

  • Nintendo Switch on Amazon for $330 then another 12.5% cashback bringing it down to $290. Insane deal.

And P20 Pro for $55/pm with 80 gigs of data from Telstra.

  • Paying RRP for a SNES mini

  • The internet and mobile deals this year I remember got me through some tough times.

But games and food are my usual go to winners.

    Too many to mention though.

I really like my wireless Bluetooth headphones (TaoTronics BH22's) for under $60 AUD from Amazon Australia.

Some of the techfast prebuilt deals have been really good value for new owners.

But yeah the ebgames/harverynorman/bigw/target/steam/origin/uplay/gog/fanatical/humblebundle deals were killing it this year.

  • $79 2DS XL, $250 camping fridge (was $500), $29 Stanley socket set, which was "upgraded" to a beefier version (I wanted the smaller version but couldn't say no to a $105 set for thirty bucks lol). My favourite overall is still my Stanley Fatmax cordless drill/impact driver set though.

I agree on the Stanley Fatmax drill & impact driver set. Both work well and twist hard despite my abuse.

  • Hello Fresh for a weeks free food

Mi Notebook Pro for $836 shipped, was a price error but they honoured it. Legends.

    Techfast pre-built i3 8100, GTX 1060 6GB w 24" for $693 was also a steal.

Half price on all freezer items at Woolworths.
Such a good deal, you had to buy as much as your freezer could hold.
A lot of products don't get discounted, and this was 50% off everything frozen.

    (2) Nike Epic React
