Great for when you want to venture out from under that rock you live under

Does it have the word "BeeBest" all over the band?
I don't want to be reminded of Melania Trump https://www.whitehouse.gov/bebest/ everytime I wear it.

anaconda usually have headlamps going for around $9. So cant see the bargain here at $26
    https://www.anacondastores.com/cycling/bike-accessories/bike… 2 pack for $9.99

Having it with an inbuilt battery is a negative in my books. For something designed for camping you want to be able to swap that sucker out.

        • it's marketed for running though, no where on their site it says its for camping.

      • Recharge is useless when your out camping. You want to just replace the batteries and have it work then to wait for it to recharge

  • Any idea on th CRI of the light?

    • No idea but it seems like the designers would have thought more about long duration or brightness over CRI %. I'm curious what application you have in mind.

  • Not all camping torches need to have really long usage times. I find I NEVER use my anaconda headlight that much that I need to swap batteries over on a 3 day / 2 night hike. I'm sure I could go many days actually. I think the real advantage of this is the weight. 27grams vs 124 grams (including the 3 x AAA) with the anaconda cheapie ones mentioned above. Heck this weighs less than 2 x AAA LSD batteries and runs up to 17 hours! I'm looking at doing the Camino de Santiago next year and if I can save 100 grams on one item alone, that is worth it, seeing that I will be carrying it 800km in my pack. If you camp by your car with your fridge, camp kitchen and generator ticking away, this is probably not the headlamp for you. For a serious light weigh hiker this looks great. If you want lots of light and changeable batteries maybe you want https://www.banggood.com/BIKIGHT-1300LM-30W-COB-LED-Recharge…

    • Good luck on the camino track - one of my lifetime favourites. Pro tip: bring a couple of earplugs (or some taotronic ANC earphones) so the chorus of snorers doesn't keep you up in the dormatories
