      Even then the emulation still sucks ass and apparently a modded snes mini plays ps1 games better than the ps classic

            @lostn: Not anymore. Last time I had done it myself, it required only 4.20. Last I heard 4.21 had some out and fixed the patch but seeing as 4.20 at the time was latest firmware, there's going to be A LOT of PS3s out there with older firmware.

                @lostn: It's been possible to spoof but exploits on the latest firmware allow you to access the PSN store.
                They are quite good at finding you and banning you if you do. You'd need to cover your tracks pretty well, I wouldn't recommend it.

    Damn that's a good price. For me personally it a pass solely because of MGS RE and Tekken3 but the other choices are really question marks

      Playing MGS without dual shock would be an insult to a classic.

      Tekken 3 has framerate issue.

          No, no, no. The device outputs at 60hrtz, yet the pal games run at 50fps. This mismatch causes inconsistent fps spikes and drops. The issue is bigger than just being pal games. This thing is pure trash. I really feel sorry for anyone who fell for buying it.

        That's what I heard for the US version which pissed them off since they've been spoiled on 60hz all this time.

        For the PAL versions of this console, it's more believable to me that all of them are 50hz since those versions of the games are the only ones that have German, Spanish and Italian language support.

      They use composite video though..

      And then you need to buy the games itself. And the memory card.

      I threw mine away (was chipped too) on hard waste collection day.
