Westfields Southland is giving out free $10 Westfield Gift card in front of Glasson (Level 2) from 12pm -3pm. Not many people have taken noticed of it and just walked past it.

Mate we're paying for car-parking with this stupid mob. The least they could do is this. How in the world these people believe they can just apply the idiotic Sydney model here in Melbourne when even Chadstone has free parking is beyond me.

It's 3 hours for free and longer if you see a movie. How long do you need?
If they didn't have paid parking you'd get no parking spots since everyone would drive there for the newly built Station.
Parking was not a problem when I was there, plenty of spots were still available when I got back. Parked near the Westpac entrance where they've extended it a little. For some reason Southland doesn't seem as packed as the other shopping centres today.
Parking's free. If you stay over 3 hours you should be punished….
Maybe other westfields can price match?

Thanks OP. Also can confirm that the giftcard works outside of Westfield shops. I used my $10 giftcard as cheque at Ashwood Woolworths.
Damn that was supposed to be tomorrows gift, they must have changed it.
