    refresh rate?

    • 75hz

    • 75hz, Acer beat the Dell 38" at 60hz, which cost much more.

      • My LG is 75hz too, cost me 2200 on release a few years back. No freesync but still going strong.

      • Dell 38" is overclockable to 75hz and has built-in KVM.

        • This Acer also has a built-in KVM

I paid less than that for the Acer X34P, which is Gsync so would expect this to be cheaper inspite of larger screen and HDR?

    • Nah as soon as monitors cross the 34 inch mark they sky rocket in price especially if you add “HDR” in. Don’t ask me why

I've been watching these various 38" (technically 37.5") monitors for a while. They're all using so pretty much the same. All the same panel. Fairly sure this is the cheapest any of them have ever been.

OP are you sure this one has HDR? Not mentioned on the Amazon listing. There apparently is a .002 version of the monitor which has the HDR, but there doesn't seem to be any information saying the .001 version can be updated to support HDR.

    • Can confirm this is the one with HDR

  • Anyone have recommendations for 27-34" flat 4k (optionally with hdr) and great colour gamut for designer/developer.

May occasionally play games on it but seems best to get a separate high refresh monitor for that, unless you drop several $k on it so not that fused.

  • $1196.04 after cashback god DAMN that's a good deal, wish I had the room on my desk for a 2nd ultrawide

  • Looks lovely

  • I was about to post about this. Just bought one myself to replace my 8 year+ old Samsung 27"
