Prices for OLED monitors keep falling. At this rate, should be >$500 by Black Friday.

Really want to have one but for people work with lots of texts OLED is well known bad for this type of work. And I don’t want to fiddle with two screens ips for work then OLED for entertainment. Seems I still need to stick with IPS for long.

I'm currently using Dell G3223Q 32" IPS 4K and it's got a good balance between work and play. I will probably wait few more years for OLED tech to mature and be more appealing for work.

        • Thats what I have too - so I want at least the same size and res

The 4K OLEDs are a lot better at text, at 32” and especially 27”. Unnoticeable unless you’re actually looking out for fringing text.

There’s still the burn in issue however.

      • If you can separate your work PC and home PC that's probably better. No distractions as well. That's what I do.

        • Which would address my issue with trying to run games decently at native 4k, but its just easier to use the same monitors, inputs and space for work (my gaming PC stays off during work)

  • Anyone know how long this code will last?

  • Thanks OP, put in an order and given estimate delivery on Aug 18 which I thought was rather long. Anyone else given the same estimate?

    • I got mine delivered in 2 days. But I did order it like a week ago

      • My bad, the estimate date given is way overestimated. I just received mine today

        • Do you notice any VRR flicker in games?
