Hi, this post is for those who would be interested and in the market for a higher end machine. I understand you might not think its worth it, but others might. My intention for posting was just to get the deal up on the site.
      Thanks

      • I agree with Belesci. It is an obsolete model with an inflated RRP.

Get a factory reco on the link below for $149

Not the same product (EN520, older non-touch model) but much better deal I'd agree.

One problem with the EN520 is it can't do a flat white. Not sure about the Touch model.

Not the same model but a very cheap deal! thanks for linking

    • We need to start banning posts like this. So exhausting.

Lol. Just want to see how many of them down voters bought one. My comment had nothing to do with OP or his post.

  • The milk from a Creatista is so so much better!

    Cheers op,

Thanks OP, perfect timing. Mine is just over 2 yrs and not working as well.

    Don't forget :
10% with pre-existing DJ gift cards (I had some handy)
$30 cash back plus $30 Nespresso Coffee Credit

[or could use Amex spend $200 get $30 back deal if you saved it previously]

Worked out to about $220 for me.

      Thanks and nice work! Enjoy

Even better : I logged into cashrewards first, then DJ and made the purchase.

10% with pre-existing DJ gift cards
5% cashback from cashrewards (using gift cards to pay is 'ok' according to cashrewards T+C)
        Came through immediately, $14.50 back
        $30 + $30 back from Nespresso.

        Thanks again OP!

Maybe amend / add description to include the above stacking to bring it down to about $212

$319 is a fair price if it was standard. $649 RRP is way overpriced though.

    Nespresso is expensive.

    • Down to $212 as above, even cheaper

      • +1

That takes a lot of fiddling and includes after sales offers that you'd also be entitled to had the sticker price been cheaper. I don't have DJ gift cards because I never shop there.

$319 sticker price is ok. I wish it were lower though. I would bite at $250 before cashbacks.

        • Ok, but the typical OzBargainer lives for the extra discount. Lol!

          For what it's worth :

Most online places will get you the 10%-off gift cards within the hour (AGL, etc). Depends if you are willing to go through them.
Have had no problems re: Nespresso cashbacks, they usually pay within 15 days of lodging it.
Cashrewards showed the cashback within 5 min, although it'll take a while until it eventually comes through.

For another $100 off, I'm willing to do (and did) the workaround.

          • @dangerdanger: I don't disagree about the little discounts you're doing. They're good and I do cashbacks too.

I'm just saying the initial price is a bit high. It's fair but it's a very small upgrade over a Latissima+ and I think if they actually try to sell these at $649 normally, that's bonkers.

Overpriced normally. Discounted + further cashbacks and gift card savings = fairly good deal.

But my Ozb mentality is, buy it for a good price to start with, and then add the cherry on top extras = amazing deal.

I guess you can say I'm greedy. But this is also from the perspective that I already have two Nespresso machines, including the Lat+, so it's a bit harder to get me to bite again. They were both cheaper than this, and I already felt they could have been even more cheaper.

  • Would it be a bargain for me if I actually don't put milk in my coffee?

    • No. Buy the very basic machine with no milk frother, which can be had for under $100 sometimes.
