  • Just wondering if I should go with this one or the Sony OLED deal…

    • if the sony also 65 and around $13xx then get sony otherwise i will pick this one (if i dont have tv already).
unless you are super picky and spent hours on tv, see below post from neerav otherwise like me i wont bother too much

      • no, it is at $2999 until tomorrow

So ermm in which way is that a like for like decision?

          • @pingponged: Apples and oranges are the same according to AG1304x’s logic.

            • @moo: correct. he must be millionaire rich so $2999 is comparable to $1323
i feel i was wasting my time replying to him

        • no, it is at $2999 until tomorrow

If you have the money to consider OLED get OLED.

    • This is not QLED. So I would suggest find deals for QLED at least and then compare with Sony.

      • How is Samsung QLED compare with Sony X85F

It's a good price but bear in mind that the 7100 is edge lit LED backlit

In order of quality for the blackest blacks, from best to worst TV's are:

    1. OLED
    2. Direct Backlit LED
    3. Edgelit LED

I think plenty of Ozbarginer would pick Hisense P7 over this unit any day of the year. Video pro has P7 listing about 1380 after 20%

    • Exactly.

I think the P7 might go cheaper in the sales. I'm considering it if the 55"goes to $999.

    • Some lucky fellas managed to grab it for $1196 + $100 (visa giftcard) on this deal. $1096 for Hisense 65P7, you can't go wrong with that.

I don't think it would go that cheap again though.

  • Is it wall mountable?

The 75" version of this TV is $1968 + Postage ($149 to Sydney) after applying the 20% discount code. I've been keeping my eye out on this model for quite some time and seems to be the cheapest price i've seen! Costco was around $2250 earlier in the year from memory.

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-75-UA75NU7100W-Series-7-…

      • Costco price was $2250 - $200 cashback (from Samsung via redemption at that time) = $2050

        That was better deal.

Cheapest loaf of bread at the moment at woolworths is $2.

    • Random but hilarious :D

      • I'll be reporting cheapest at the moment prices all day, stay tuned.

    • Isn't it 1.50? Fake news!

      • Should have mentioned this deal excludes VIC, NSW, QLD, SA.

Iv had this model for the last 12 or so months. good tv but the sound is hit n miss and now the wifi keeps dropping in n out (assuming software issue)

    • +2

I have the 43 inch version. I also have a problem with the wifi and many other people do on multiple forums. It negates the whole point of a smart tv, if I had’ve known I wouldn’t have bought it.

The updates don't help? Make sure you go to their website to get the latest software. https://www.samsung.com/au/support/model/UA65NU7100WXXY/
I had sound issues with my 6 series that were fixed with updates. They weren't available through the TV's update feature though, I had to get them directly from the website.

        • Thanks for this info will be sure to give it a try

        • My TV has always said it was up to date but obviously not if I have to do it externally. Cheers mate I’ll give it a shot!

  • the code cant be applied to your order,,, I dont know whats wrong.. I might price match it at JB

    • You might have created the account when you were not in Australia, you have to change it to Australia.

      • Yes you are right I had UK account and that is changed to Aus.

Ebay also helped me on that and previous codes for AUS ebay were applied successfully redeemed however not happening again for me.

What is changing here? When i have AU credit card for paypal and AU address…

This item doesn't post to Perth Metro

  • Anyone knows if we can PM at TGG,HN or JB HiFi?

    • I tried HN and no

  • Is this model shipped with smart TV controller? Kids really love the one came with UA55KS9000.

  • bought HiSense 65 P7 for $1395, shame that ebay cashback was offline.
