    Hub is quite small. Good for the bedside table but if you're thinking about putting a screen in the kitchen, this one will be better for recipe viewing and videos.

    I went with the hub simply because it looks nicer (symmetrical). Otherwise it's probably safe to say this is better value.

    The question is Jimmy do you require a camera? The Google Home Hub has the smallest screen at 7" but no camera great for the bedroom. The Lenovo has good sound quality nice screen and a camera if you want the best sound go with the JBL link view.

  Check out the Lenovo forums about the Lenovo smart display

  Some potential issues with connectivity and setup failures to be aware of. They said they and Google are investigating, but it's been a month already.

    I have many users that have recently purchased the Lenovo and have not experienced the issues you have mentioned.

  The sound quality on this is quite impressive.
  I'll also add there is quite the delay with my security cameras to be displayed on the Lenovo display compared to displaying them via Chromecast.

  Google home hub is nicely integrated but sound is very tinny… Even compared to normal Google home speaker… (We replaced the one in the kitchen) this looks like a good deal.
