        To be honest we gave people a lot of bad experiences at the start (May 2017) but it was not by intention but more or less by inexperience in the business, since then we have gained a lot of experience and for this deal especially the stock is in Australia so we will not have the importing problems we suffered from originally which caused the bad customer experiences. If you read customer reviews about us you will see that most of the new reviews from October 2017 onwards are very positive, and we have been there to service and repair any faulty items within the warranty period.

            @dcep: Not sure about Gen 2 as I have Gen 1.

            I think he's bundled the virtual wall box with the accessory kit into his own bundle. The virtual wall kit costs around $20 from China normally.

            @dcep: Gen 2 does have a new software feature that enables you to setup virtual barriers from the app but it is not fool proof yet, so the virtual wall acts as physical boundary for those places you definitely don't want the vacuum going.

    Hey, I have tried to order but was given error message on checkout.

    "Payment descriptor must be at most 22 characters. Credit card (securely processed by stripe) is 44 characters long."

    Edit: Tried via Paypal and it worked.

      Yes it is, filters are not washable like the standard included filters that come with the RoboRock S50 however we have noticed that the not washable filters are easier to clean.

    Negging due to major issue with vendor. Keeping hundreds of OzBargain customers waiting for news for 48 days from until is particularly repugnant and OP's above description yet again comprehensively fails to acknowledge that experience. I urge all OzBargain members and guests to avoid Roboguy.

    Furthermore, unsatisfactory response to Member Burnertoasty's matter demonstrates colossal disrespect while other examples abound. This vendor is fully aware of all this and still has not refunded priority shipping payments. Returning here to seek more revenue is a derisory exercise in mockery.

            @Maverick-au: I don't think the Mi Robot vacuum reacts to the virtual wall because it's magnetic tape, but because the black colored tape engages the vacuum's fall sensor to turn away from the area as it thinks its near a ledge.

            Easy enough to google many examples of people having the issue with black carpet

            Black duct tape is quite common around the household so might be worth trying that first (double tape it, obviously) but also not too expensive from many places such as Officeworks

              @BargainHuntrr: You can put the magnetic tape under thin carpet and it can be detected by the cleaner and I've read that you can also use stronger magnets under timber flooring and this is also detected by the cleaner. The magnetic tape is also brown.
