  but bananas will be really cheap in summer (for the most part). Even now they're about $3.50 per kg. I think it's better to just buy fresh and use/freeze them yourself.

  Vietnamese bananas at $7.39 a kilo, or you can pay $2.50 from Coles for fresh Australian grown bananas.
  Personally I avoid buying frozen fruit due to all the contamination scares, let alone the lower nutritional value and higher price.
  (Price I've mentioned is the 5kg box including the mandatory delivery fee)

  Really bananas from Vietnam. Source them from Australia.
  Just goto your local supermarket and buy from their and support Aussie farmers.

  This is false advertising. I live in Victoria and we’ve not seen bananas fresh for $5 since the cyclones. The most we pay is $3.99 a kg and they’re Australian. Plus you’re saying $5 a kg but really this deal is costing a minimum of $50 because you’re saying 10kg to get an order delivered. Doesn’t even stipulate in the heading if delivery is included in that price or not. Sorry, downvoting because it’s clearly not a deal.
