Nanoleaf 9 Panel Light Panel Kit $182 USD (~$260 AUD) Delivered @ Nanoleaf SOLD OUT

30

The best deals I can find for just these panels kits without Rhythm module delivered to OZ. Even better if you want the 9panels with the Rhythm module, but go local and try www.tekitin.com.au. $255.20 AUD Free delivery. I already have the 2 Rhythm's. Tektin have 20% off if you use BOXFOR20 code. You effectively get the module for $5.20 extra.

Be aware that when purchasing on the Nanoleaf website, go to Asia pacific site. Amounts are in USD and shipping from HK. Takes about week or less as DHL, so postage defaults to about $27USD as cheapest postage. You do get reward points if you purchase through that website. No code required for nanoleaf site.

For those that can wait. JBHI should have them on sale in early FEB for a short time.

New sqaure panels are improved panels which have touch control. If you just want the lighting affect the originals are just fine and even better with the Rhythm module if you havent got a kit yet.

  • "tektin" link does't work nor do they show up in google

      Correction. I'm bad

I brought the flexible connectors from them. So no issues about purchases from them and reasonable CS. Time to buy stuff off their website and they don't normally have discounts and prices are usually always RR no real deals during year except for occasional 10% off. Ie if you put in basket and wait for reminder emails a few times then you get a discount email to close out purchase. 20% off store wide there at moment.

      • They're a LOT more than buying from the site linked for the original deal though.

        • Rhythm 9 panel set cheaper at TEKITIN I believe, and the 9 panel set alone from Nanoleaf cheaper there. Hope that help.

  • Why do we buy it?

    • Why buy anything. These are cool lights if you like LEDs.

  • bought the rhythm pack. thanks, op. I was having 2 two normal starter kits, was looking for a rhythm module. they sell the module for $79, I better get this rhythm kit, at least it has another 9 panels to add to my family.

    • That's great. The Rhythm adds a cool function and new pattern options. Do you have the remote? That is cool as well. Can be a bit of an expensive thing to like.

  • I never previously considered these. We need a large artwork for a wall, which is probably $800+, and this seems like a funky alternative for a tech minded guy such as myself. I need at least three metres coverage so four or five packs of the squares or triangles.

    • I think the triangles are larger and to me a bit more dynamic in the patterns you can possibly do with them. Be aware that you can only put 30 in 1 set to link the pattern sequence. You can always just put the other set abutting, but wont all sync. The square ones I believe can connect more, but are more expensive as just released.

      • yeah triangles are 250mm equilateral triangles. (270 sq cm)
squares are 150mm square (225 sq cm)

the squares suit the purpose better (a canvas substitute) but are considerably more expensive to cover a very large area.

eg; 30 triangles (the maximum) covers 0.81 sq m at a lowest cost of $718 ($760 with rhythm module)

The same area in squares is 37 squares (0.8325 sq m) at a lowest cost of $1082. ($1027 with 5% off gift cards)

Triangle add-ons are $960 per square meter
Square add-ons are $1,150 per square meter

  • OK, so the summary is;

Nanoleaf 9 pack smarter with rhythm; $172.49 USD ($245 AUD)

    exeltek.com.au

  • And if you want nanoleaf canvas, only jb hifi has stock.

  • A lot of price options there. Postage needs to be checked though

  • How do you guys hide the cable for this? Looks nice but don't like cables hanging from the wall.

    • Cable is white, so does blend in a bit. I have mine over my TV so the controller is at bottom and you only see a bit of the cable. If you are putting it somewhere permanently you could drill a hole in the plaster and feed it through behind a panel and then to the bottom. Youll need one of those long electrical cable feeders to help feed it through wall.

    • recessed GPO big enough to house the nanoleaf brick.

seems easier for the newer nanoleaf canvas because the transformer is built into the wall plug.

  • Just got an nice email to complete my order and get another 10% off from Nanoleaf. So you can get the 9 panels for $229.65 AUD delivered to Melbourne Aus if you hold on order and wait for the email.

    • Cool,
      how long did that take?
So you just logged in to their website and added the item in your cart?

      • If you add, but don't complete order. Register not as guest. I think a few hours or day. Not 100% sure on time. Suspect more likely 24hrs.

  • I don't get it. With postage the order comes up to $199USD (approx $283AUD) on the Nanoleaf website. Am I missing something here?

    • Where are you located? Melbourne I get $27 USD normal method not any express selection which would be extra. Also use Asia Pacific link not through the Canada site. Hope that helps. Nanoleaf site.

      • Yeah that's correct Melbourne. So the discounted panels are $172 + $27 shipping comes to a total of $199 ($283 AUD). I'm on the Asia Pacific site.

        • 9 Panels should be $149 + $27 USDfor postage. If you hold on order and wait for an email with a 10% off on new purchases you get another 10% off on top of that as well. Your on the USA site. Also that price is the Rhythm pack. My post is on the 9 panels alone, if you want the Rhythm pack go Tekitin. As Nanoleaf site for that works out as $306 AUS delivered. That's almost the same as JB

At the top right corner just below the cart it has region choose rest of world or Asia pacific and middle east.

          https://int-shop.nanoleaf.me/collections/boxing-week-2018

Try cleaning out your cookies. Shows $149 for the 9panel set when I am looking at it right now.

          • @Melb69: nanoleaf are sold out of 9 panel kits now. both rhythm and normal.

            • @Martyroz: I ozbargained myself out of the item myself. Took too long to place the order and missed out all together. Hopefully in Feb or end of financial year there will be a discount again, but unlikely to be 25% off more like only 20%. Waiting also for JBHI to have their discounts which will actually be under $200 for the standard 9panel set

              • +1

                @Melb69: I just grabbed 3 * rhythm packs and a 3 pack (30 panels) for $844 delivered from tekitin.

I should be able to offload 2 Rhythm modules for $50 ea, maybe even 2 control modules for a bit less. If I recoup $100 - $150 total, I'm happy; it would mean I get my 30 panels for $694 - $744 delivered @ $23.13 - $24.80 per panel.

If JB HIFI do the 9 kit for sub $200, yeah I'll be a bit bummed. But that would be without Rhythm module? should work out close to the same price ($22.22 @$200/9)

                • @Martyroz: Just get more panels when the JBHI sales are on. Believe its manufacturer sales, so random when they come up.
