Have been waiting for this price drop! Hovered between $49-$69 post release date. Had only been cheaper as pre-release (possibly price error through amazon)

Yeah, that pre-release price was a price error, for sure! (I got in on that!)

This is the equal cheapest I have seen it since (has been $39 once before), so this as low as it has gone legitimately!

dont forget 10% back with cashrewards

  • This item is available at Target and JB Hi Fi for $39. So does not appear an unusual price nor a great bargain.

    • Any better from nba 2k 18?

      • yeh I'm wondering the same, have heard some ppl said 2k18 hasn't been that good integrated on switch. Personally have only played the 2k series on ps4, but not really pro by any means, having said that is there any deal breaker issue in peoples opinion that you would choose ps4/xbox over switch.

      • Most of it’s exactly the same. The only difference is new MyCareer, added rookies etc. mycareer is a long grind though

Gameplay has been better, MyCareer also.. but still the usual 2K bugs and issues.. lack of Dev communication etc.

Depends what mode you play really and if you play online/offline. But some quality of life things have improved like 2k18 had some horrendous load times and unskippable cutscenes.. 2k19 has improved on that along with some game mechanics.

Online play still a bit iffy (playground), but I generally avoid it because Aus connects to Asia servers which kinda lag..

MyCareer has less annoying cutscenes and the prelude story is pretty cool. MyTeam more or less the same, not sure if you're the type to pump money into virtual currency.. I will say MyCareer grind is much easier than 2k18.. if you play through your rookie year with say 8min quarters and perform quite decently you'll get to like 80-85 OVR without spending extra cash

Haven't heard too many complaints about offline modes like MyLeague.

  • Bought and will give a shot thanks :D
