Haven't seen the v6 absolute that cheap in a long time good buy

This isn’t cheap. I got this vacuum for $317 two years and it is an unrefined piece of crap. Always failing and getting clogged up, the catch release is poorly designed and we have to use a knife or chopstick to get dust and hair out of the sides of the canister. Keep away

    • Are you sure you are talking about V6 Absolute not Slim or Animal as these are usually cheaper ones ?
Can't find any cheaper reference history

    • Totally agree. My V6 absolute is an absolute piece of crap. My previous dc35 was heaps better

    • This probably comes 2.5 years too late but you can detach the canister from the vacuum completely so you should never have to reach into it to clean it.

Pull down on the release once to open the bottom, pull down on it again and the canister detaches.

  • has anybody actually used this system and had PHYICAL good delivered from previous deals?

I know people use for gift cards but they are electronic and no gst involved.

    • Yes. As long as it's coming from AU, no GST.

  • We have the BPR700BSS, up from this model, which has got the ceramic bowl but is ~$100 more expensive. You can do virtually anything with this.

    • Care to share your favourite recipies? I'm looking for new ides.

      • Wife does all kinds of stews in this depending on what seasonal veg we have on hand. She pretty much just googles it.

I like to make my stews in a Silit that we had before we bought this.

        • Ok here is an Agean Chicken one we do, super easy:

          2/3 cup flour
          1 tsp salt
          1/2 tsp dried oregano
6 chicken breasts, boneless & skinless
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup white wine (water or chicken broth may be substituted)

In a small bowl, combine first three ingredients. Rub ingredients over chicken. Place chicken in crockpot, then add soup and wine into crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours

      • You can make a good lamb shank stew with the BPR700BSS. Sear the lamb shank. Sauté chopped onion in butter. Cook one lamb shank, 2 cups of soup mix and water on “pressure lamb shank” setting. Then slice up carrot, celery, sweet potato, parsnip and turnip and cook with “pressure soup setting”. Make sure you have up close to max with water. The meat falls off the lamb shank and the soup is delicious. My main gripe is the “lid not sealed” issue.

        • Thanks will check that out!

    • I think this one is not Absolute model
