Chop them in half and throw them on the bbq

If you don't want to eat them, don't buy them…

      • do these fuel up the bbq?

    • Do you put them on the BBQ frozen or thawed?

  • Duplicate post. But think special finishes today, so get in quick.

    • No it's not, the previous special finished, but it now it's on again, so just letting people know.

    • Pretty sure you're right, the tag in store says it finishes today and can't see it in either of the latest catalogues, seems to have just been a 2 week special.

They'd run out at the store I went to, got a raincheck.

These are actually Made in Australia, with 99% Australian ingredients! That's a plus from me.

Anyone here know where I can get some nice Crumbed Calamari rings, that aren't Made in China?

Does Aldi or IGA have them for example?

All the Colesworth ones are from China these days…

    • Aldi ones are from China

  • Great!

enjoy your MSG on the BBQ….

MSG is a actually entirely safe to eat. It was a myth that it was toxic.

      • My body doesn't function correctly without MSG now. Need to go into an MSG rehab facility

        • please eat more msg.. add msg to your daily foods e.g breakfast, lunch and dinner.

      • Can we jump forward 10 years and start saying the same about gluten?

    • Mutton or beef?

They can't even tell the difference between the two either but lucky both taste ok in a dim sim

    • And don’t forget to watch out for salt content

    • I will! MSG is deadset delicious. I add it to a lot of recipes for extra umami goodness.
Also, by using MSG you can usually cut right back on the amount of salt you use, which is actually good for your health!

Golden Wok dimmies $5 for 1.75kg at Woolworths ATM too:

Thanks Fappo, that's also a very good deal but not sure if Golden Wok dimmies are OzBargain approved ;)

    • Yep these are better imo

  • I almost bought a pack yesterday until I looked at the nutritional info. Was something like 8 to 1 carb to protein ratio.

  • I have eaten these before, cheap and reasonable taste but they are unhealthy and will make you fat pretty quick. They have some healthy things in them like cabbage.

Are these better than the Aldi frozen dim sims? Can't fault the Aldi ones but if these are better tasting or a better recipe and worth the extra dollars, I'll buy a few bags and chuck em in the freezer

    • Me and my flatmates lived on aldi dim sims and 2 Min noodles. Absolute life saver.

  • The woolworths Golden Wok ones are yummy, just bought a pack. You get 20 1.75kg for $5…..
