    Wow! Nice find!!

No local stock for me… fingers crossed for Amazon now!

    • +1

Wish eBay site had these prices.

  • +1

Scribblenauts Has been a hit in our house with 10 year old and friends, I agree it’s not much of a game for the original price but we picked it up for $20 last September and it’s been played a lot since then.

is target web stock accurate? no stock anywhere for me an i want octpath

    • Hard to say. It showed stock once at my local store and when I went, they never had stock of the game. Sad.

      • My local store said no stock of Hyrule Warriors, but when I went in there were 2 so I have no idea

        • Haha, there you go!

          • @RocketSwitch: Better go in after work then.

            • @zorrt: I fear by then, there really will be no stock. I usually find some friendly OzBargain peeps there when there's a sale lol

    • Not really. I remember when I was half after Starlink, the website said Knox, Ringwood, and Chirnside (my three closest) had none in stock. Ended up walking around the shop at Ringwood aimlessly a couple weeks later and they had like ten, checked the website again (figured they might have come into some new stock), nope, no stock available apparently.

Definitely would try ringing if you're interested. I already have Bayo 2 on Wii U, and Bayo 1 on 360, PS3, Wii U, and Switch, or else I'd be right there with you, decent deal.

Amazon please see this post. :/

  • No stock in Tasmania according to the website

octopath traveller is an amazing game. the main storyline itself is like 40-50 hours of game play.

id look up guides on how to get money/exp fast tho so you dont have to grind as much

    • id look up guides on how to get money/exp fast tho so you dont have to grind as much

      Just like in real life!

Anyway, I've just did the first chapters for all 8 characters, What do you recommend I do next?

      • +1

Do a 4 by 4 team. Don't switch them out. Finish the game for 4 of them first then move the gear to the next 4 and finish it for them.
I found this is the best way for end game content (No spoilers!)

      • +1

Conversley I went through all chapter 1s then 2, 3 etc but always kept Therion in the party (for the chests) and just moved the rest around as I saw fit. Everyone ends up roughly the same level, with Therion and Olberic a little higher (Olberic was higher because of all the challenging I did). It's great whichever way you do it!
I highly advise stealing and interrogating/inquiring everyone to get maximum treasure etc.

Still haven't finished it but have put about 90hrs in - but I also Like exploring everything and don't rush too much. Hope you enjoy it!

      • +1

i just did every ones chapter 2 and then everyones chapter 3 after that then went straight to finish olberic's chapter 4 to get the op sword.

oh you should collect all the job classes now.

  • no stock :/ Amazon senpai notice this post (⁄ ⁄◕⁄‿⁄◕⁄ ⁄✿)

  • Can someone find the Bayonetta 1+2 online at Target website please?

      • Doesn't appear to be any in Victoria :(

        • Website stock is misleading. Try calling or going in

        • Knox had like 10 last time I was in there, though it has been a couple weeks, would try ringing though.

    • I hated bayonetta 1 instantly on first play.

But I gave Bayonetta 2 a chance recently and loved it.

Now I'm looking forward to retrying/playing Bayonetta 1.

Moral of the story: Give it a go.

I might even buy an N2 elite to use amiibos to scrub up enough cash to unlock the special boss battle.

PS: Although I'm a lazy player (only using basic combos) so now I'm stuck unable to do Witch Trial 3 (post-game content). So if you're lazy like me and OCD and and want to finish everything the game has.. not going to happen.

      • If you have a phone with NFC you can just write to NTAG215 chips from Aliexpress instead of using the N2 Elite.

        • I suppose. $10ish for 30 eh? Or the N2 for $45.

It's kind of tempting. But I'm not sure that I want that many NFC cards hanging around.

          • @justtoreply: It's a lot more convenient when it comes to saves and swapping amiibos, you can write on them what they are with a marker, and they're 1mm in height each, so they don't take much space and you can get 50 of them for half the price of the N2.

  • Called 4 in Melbourne looking for Bayonetta and no luck.
I can only hope Amazon match this pricing.

  • No Gold Coast Stores have OT

    • There was 1 or 2 left at Tweed

      • I just checked online and nothing

        • Online also said no stock of Hyrule Warriors and I got 2 copies. I was literally just in the Tweed store and saw 2 copies after I bought one of Octopath

          • @Ninternet: Thanks mate

            • @Twisty: Try giving them a call to confirm

              • @Ninternet: Thanks

                • @Twisty: Did you see any Bayonetta at the Robina or Pacific Fair stores?

                  • +1

@Yuri Lowell: I only rang sorry and was only after OT

Picked up OT and a stardew from Tweed, very helpful lady served me. Was a pleasure ;)

                    • @Twisty:

very helpful lady served me. Was a pleasure ;)

                      ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Holy crap Octopath at $30. Already have it about 40 hours in. Amazing.

I put Street Fighter on reserve at my local store.

    • That was my reaction!

  • No stock of bayonetta anywhere near ACT.

    • Have you tried calling or going in? Stock online is inaccurate

      • Nah I havn't - online stock has been accurate every other time there has been a deal though, at least at my few local stores. Will have a look after work though.

        • +1

As I mentioned in a few comments above, online store showed my local store as being out of stock with Hyrule Warriors, but went in and there were 2. Online also shows Octopath as out of stock, but there were three there this morning when I was there (left 20 minutes ago)

          • +1

@Ninternet: Target Belco didn’t have these titles in stock last week, so unless they’ve had a delivery over the last few days….

        • +1

Not sure about other stores, but can confirm the Tuggeranong store is OOS on all games in this post.

          • @NobalaKoba: ta saves me looking :'( maybe gunners or weston (but weston is tiny)?

            • @Wilburre: Don’t believe Weston stocks games as they’re an ex-Fosseys ‘Target Country’ store. No Target at Gungahlin either.

              • +1

@agentsmith: i guess i just assumed gungahlin would have one. I have seen games at weston target before - q4 last year. It's 1 small shelf though.

                • @Wilburre: No worries :) And now that you mention it, I think I do recall seeing games at Weston, right up the front in a glass cabinet.

Target Queanbeyan might be another option.

  • +1

You guys could try price matching at JB or EB, my local stores didn't hesitate to price match Fire Emblem at the time. Worth a punt!

    • +3

My local EB wanted to call to confirm stock. It all depends on who is behind the desk.

      • Yeah, exactly! It's a flip of a coin.

    • I Just got both price matched. loaded the website on my phone and they didn't even do a stock check. might have helped that target was in the same centre.

      • Those guys are awesome that just price match, sadly, it's not common as it should be.

  • +2

Would super recommend Octopath, I'm usually not a fan of JRPGs but I love this game.

    • Same, I got into it in my very short play

  • Wohoo called and she put one on the side for me :D

    Thanks OP!

    • Not a problem :)

      • Phew. It was the last one too!

  • +1

The entertainment section in a few of my local Target is basically non-existant…

    • +3

Based on these clearances, I'd imagine they're all going in that direction

      • +2

We’ve got a brand new Target. They may as well not have an entertainment section. It’s one shelf and one cabinet in a huge store.

It’s clear that it’s a token section that won’t be there for long.

    • My local has started slimming down the entertainment section dramatically. It's almost non existent. I think they are getting out of that area in all stores and going to make it more like KMart.

      • +1

Same here, the entertainment section has basically turned into a Customer Service Section.

      • +5

Such a shame. Soon it will only be JB, EB and Harveys and that's it. Hope we don't see a return to high retail prices again. I've been enjoying games being at the $59-79 mark instead of the 89-109 mark it was at years ago.

      • +1

With rumors that the next Xbox & PS will offer disc-free variants of their consoles - physical sales of games will be massively reduced.

  • +4

Thanks OP, now to wait for a hopeful Amazon price match :)

  • There’s a bayonetta 2?

    • +5

      Since 2014, yes.
Also soon to be a Bayonetta 3

  • Very good price for OT

  • Reckon Ebgames will Pricematch?

    • +1

      50/50.

      • +1

        75/25

    • If you can find a copy that's in stock at a target within a 15 minute radius from EB then they will, otherwise they won't price match if it's online only. That's what I got told from two stores.

    • nah, but you could buy then trade it in immediately for about tree fiddy

  • +1

2 copies of Scribblenauts and 2 copies of Street Fighter @ Canberra Centre @ 11.15am for those interested. No Bayonetta or Octopath unfortunately

  • Also stardew valley and halo wars 2 on Xbox are $10

  • Great deal for Bayonetta. I have both for the Wii U but would almost consider trading them in for a Switch copy instead seeing as I use my Switch much more now.

    • +2

Sold my Wii U copy of Hyrule Warriors yesterday for $20, looks like I'm upgrading to the switch version for $10!

  • +1

    Gaming deal of the year

  • Has anyone tried to match price with EB or JB for Bayonetta in Melbourne?

    • I tried EB games on swanston and highpoint :(they said they have to be there :(

  • +2

How are people finding unavailable item target links? I want to try my luck at price matching against scribblenauts but can't find it :/

    • Don’t know about others but I literally just googled “target au octopath traveller” and it’s the first link you get.

      • I tried that but I just get other games, the generic target switch page or this thread … :(

        • You’re right, doesn’t work for Scribblenauts, page’s probably removed.

  • -7

first time coctopath traveler has been at a price worth buying.

    • anymore in bankstown?

      • Not sure, best to just give them a buzz and tell them to hold a copy for you if in stock

    • I called Bankstown earlier (before the timestamp on your receipt), and they said they didn't have stock…
