I have a question for a long time, how do you sharpen these ceramic knives?
According to the ad:
Do not sharpen at home - they require the attention of a professional with a diamond sharpening wheel!
I see employment opportunities for professional ceramic knife sharpeners.
I had a set, they do hold the edge for longer, 2 month compared to my weekly steel.
But once the edge is lost, the whole knife is lost, cant sharpen it, cant afford to sharpen it.
Got this similar set for a couple of bucks cheaper approx. 2.5 years ago: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ceramic-Knife-Set-3-4-5-6-in… They've actually been pretty good even though the absolute end points have chipped off however that's not a deal breaker. Just throw them into the dishwasher and let them get wrecked but they come out fighting fit for another day. Great at even twice the price IMO. In saying all that though, we also bought a set of Globals approx. 6 months ago to see what the fuss was all about. Sure, you can't put them through the Dishwasher but wow, they're just incredible and worth every cent. An absolute pleasure to use… but the cheapie ceramics are still pretty decent for general use & abuse.
I got 4 knives and a peeler from amazon for 14$.
They are okThis does an excellent job of sharpening cermaic knives.
