      Wut? What the???

Also good to keep your dogs out of certain rooms

    • Depends on the dog and the lock style. My dog can open latches but she can't pull the gate at the same time so it only some times works lol.

I have one of these. Unless your dog has thumbs… it's not getting through the gate.

Agree. Good product, quality is excellent. I have one inside and also one outside for the dog (small dog so can’t jump over this height).

They also sell different widths and a closed playpen. But don’t know if those are cheaper than normal.

  • My fat dog is heavy enough to just push the gate open.
3 year old just climbs over it.
    Still a quality purchase.

How far away from the TV should they be installed to prevent water bottle damage?

    Safe room complete.

We're gonna build a wall…..and make the children pay for it!

    • Are you gonna shut the house down if they don't?

It’s interesting that a product designed for over-protective parents to safeguard their children is called “Perma Child”.

If we keep helicoptering over our kids to save them from imagined dangers, they will indeed become a “perma child”.

I'm with you. Instead of helicoptering around my crawling child, I've just let her tumble down the stairs repeatedly, and burn her hands on our wood heater. The kid is 7 months old already and still hasn't learnt her lesson. Probably next time she'll permanently damage her spine and she will just remain wherever I put her so it will stop being an issue.

  • Can these be mounted between a doorjamb?

    • Yeah, if you don't mind screwing a fixture into your doorjamb. Probably better options (easily removable) out there if you just need to block a doorway.

    • If you screw them in tight enough usually they’ll stay in due to the pressure as opposed to screwing in a base plate

      • yes those are the style I want, I guess these^ aren't the same.

  • i'm renting, any ones without screws? like a box play pen?

A million of these and the US shut down could resolved ;)
